Jeffrey M. Levine graduated from Christian Brothers High School in 1983. He attended and graduated from the University of Alabama in 1988 and subsequently graduated from the Cecil C. Humphrey’s School of Law at the University of Memphis in 1992. Jeff interned at the Public Defender’s office and participated in a Juvenile Court pilot program which allowed students to defend juveniles in Shelby County’s Juvenile Court system.
Jeff practiced as an attorney with the Law Offices of James A. Flexer and the subsequent firm Flexer Law PLLC until Dec 31, 2020 with a focus on Personal Injury tort claims and Social Security Disability claims and has tried cases, both jury and non-jury trial, in multiple counties around Middle Tennessee at the Circuit Court level.

Jeff practices law in all courts of record in Tennessee, and his practice has taken him as far west as Memphis, Tennessee, (where he grew up) and as far east as Roane County, Tennessee. He has handled matters throughout the state. He is licensed to handle matters before all State and Federal Courts throughout Tennessee and has argued in front of the State Supreme Court for Tennessee.
In addition to Personal Injury claims, Social Security Disability claims and Worker’s Compensation claims, Jeff has handled civil cases as Defense counsel and has represented many clients charged with both misdemeanors and felonies in criminal court.
Jeff is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Nashville Bar Association and a past member of the American Bar Association.. He has been a speaker at a legal education seminar put on by the Nashville Bar Association concerning Bankruptcy and its interaction with tort claims.
Jeff is an avid motorcycle rider as well as a Muscle car enthusiast, and can be found on the weekends turning wrenches or driving his vintage Mach One.

Very Satisfied With Mr Levine

Worst disability attorney & secretary
I hired attorney for my disability and not very much was done at all. Poor handling of my info my case and most of all we get to court hearing, tells me mistake which was made on their part thus telling me to dismiss. I already got my disability because I sent the paperwork straight to social securit...

Replied last August 29, 2018I'm sorry you feel this way. I never said that it was a mistake on our part. The only mistake was that we did not see that the work credits had expired before your prior case in which we did not represent you was denied. If I had seen that there was no eligibility earlier, I would have advised you and hopefully have kept you from making the trip to the hearing. You received your SSI for which no fee was paid. You had to file an SSI application because you had no work credits after losing and not appealing before retaining me. You were advised in writing to be there an hour early and were called when you were not there. I asked about the ear because there was a note about the ear which was illegible, but that was before the hearing. You missed multiple appointments with both me and your doctors. I appreciate the frustration you feel, but your situation was not caused or worsened by anything we did or did not do. You worked without paying taxes and are mad that you don't have work credits. I tried to protect you from perjuring yourself. I am sorry I didn't catch the date issue earlier and I apologize for that.

Very professional
Mr. Levine & Justina his assistant have been a blessing to my life & health. Their job is not easy & have many clients but are hands on with each one. When I say they gave all to my complicated case I mean 100%. Patient, understanding & most of all caring. Thank you for all of your hard work.
