Ed Farmer has three kids, Chelsea, J.T. and Benjamin. His favorite activity is hanging out with his kids and going on adventures with them.
Farmer is a retired U.S. Army Colonel with 32 years of military service with deployments to Germany and the Republic of Panama.
He is a graduate of the F.B.I. National Academy in Quantico, Virginia, Session 220. He is also a former adjunct professor in Criminal Justice at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and a former Instructor in Legal Issues at the Tennessee State Law Enforcement Training Academy In Nashville, Tennessee.
Colonel Farmer was the former Provost Marshal for the State of Tennessee Military Department and participated as Commanding Officer for the Hurricane Katrina relief effort.
Ed is particularly concerned about the welfare of soldiers and their families, particularly through the stress of multiple deployments and separation of families. Colonel Farmer's last duty assignment was at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
