Getting great results for injured people is my passion and mission in life. No case is too large or small. Every client is very important to me. I will zealously represent you with all my energy to see your case through to a successful conclusion, no matter how long it takes or how far we have to go. I'm licensed in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and the District of Columbia. In addition, I have represented clients in Connecticut, Kansas, Illinois and Arizona.
In my practice as a lawyer since 1994, I have only represented injured people. I don't defend insurance companies and I never have. I am very passionate about my work for my clients. Before I started my legal career, I was privileged to serve on active duty as an officer in the United States Army. I was a field artillery officer in the Big Red One (1st Infantry Division). Later, during law school and beyond, I served in the Army National Guard. After I took the bar exam, I became an Army lawyer (a JAGC officer) in the Alabama National Guard.
On a personal note, just a little about me: I am the proud father of four children, three daughters and a son. I've been married to a wonderful lady for more than 34 years and we have three awesome grandchildren and another on the way! When I'm not working for my clients, I enjoy travel, reading and I sometimes play bass guitar in my church praise band. I love following my favorite sports teams. So far, I've traveled to all 50 states, 19 countries and 27 different Major League Baseball stadiums.

Relationship: Worked together on matter
I worked with Tracy on a personal injury case which initially seemed hopeless for the victim. Over the course of several years, Tracy's hard work and perseverance resulted in a large jury award for the victim, and then Tracy and his firm continued to defend the verdict throughout the lengthy appeals process. Ultimately, the award was upheld and the victim was compensated, but other lawyers would have given up long before Tracy. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who has suffered a loss or injury through no fault of their own.

Let me tell you about Tracy Carey. Tracy and I met in a case where we represented different clients, who unfortunately were both hurt by the same drunk driver. The Court consolidated the cases of his client and mine for the entire proceedings, including discovery, depositions, and trial. By doing so, I had the opportunity to see Tracy handle a serious injury case, from start to finish. He proved to have amazing tenacity, original strategy, and a work ethic that was was beyond impressive. It was a real pleasure to work with a professional like this. To make a long story short, at the end of closing arguments, and a week long trial, the Geneva County jury returned a $3.8 MILLION dollar verdict in favor of our joint clients. I consider it an honor to know him now, not only as a hard working, practicing attorney, but as a friend. I wholly endorse this attorney.
