Bernard D. Nomberg has practiced civil litigation in Birmingham, Alabama since 1995. Bernard received his undergraduate degree in history from Vanderbilt University in 1990, where he played football on a full athletic scholarship. He then graduated from Jones School of Law in 1994. Bernard’s practice concentrates on workers’ compensation, social security disability and personal injury claims.

Bernard has served as the Chair of the Alabama State Bar Workers’ Compensation Section. Bernard is a member of the Birmingham Bar Workers’ Compensation and Solo/Small Firm Sections. He is currently serving on the Bar’s Mentoring Committee and Grievance Committee. He is a member of the Alabama Association for Justice and the Birmingham Bar Association. Bernard serves on the Board of North-Central Susan G. Komen Foundation, and has previously served on several local boards, including the Board of Directors for Temple Beth-El and the Birmingham Jewish Foundation.

Bernard is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts, Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama, and in the 11th Circuit, United States Court of Appeals. Bernard has earned an AV rating, the highest peer-review rating possible from Martindale-Hubbell. Peer review ratings attest to a lawyer’s legal ability and professional ethics and reflect the confidential opinions of members of the bar and judiciary.

Outstanding law firm

I was initially apprehensive about seeking legal counsel after getting hit by a distracted driver this past spring. A friend recommended we give Bernard Nomberg a call just to learn about the legal process. We had not been on the phone with Bernard for more than a minute before we knew we had made the right decision. He was knowledgeable and took the time to explain each step of the process. Anytime Bernard called to check on us or give an update, it felt like a family member was calling to check in. The Nomberg Law Firm excels at helping people because they truly care about each client. Workman comp case.

During the process of my case. Mr.Nomberg made sure that I understand the process of how workman comp. Case are decided. He would send me video to watch and email about them also. Him and his firm always stayed in touch with with about my health issues and progress. Mr. Nomberg always had my best interest in this case at heart. I appreciate all the talks we had about life and going forward after my case was resolved.

Thanks Bernard

Bernard represented me on my disability claim in which I was found favorable. I have to say I was somewhat nervous at first about going to my hearing. After talking to Bernard about the process all those fears went away. He did an awesome job. Nomberg law firm also has a YouTube channel that answered a lot of questions for me without me having to constantly call Bernard. The firm was with me all the way in the process and kept me updated. There assistant Emily is so awesome and I would like to thank her also. This is one of two representations that these guys helped me and I am very happy with the outcome of both. Workman’s comp injury

Bernard Nomberg is not only a lawyer. He was there when I was about to give up. Very compassionate, always there, and always let me know that there was going to be a light at the end of the tunnel. He would return my Alka after office hours if I needed, and that shows that he really cared about his clients. He not only settled my case, but we went over the options together.
