I caught the bug to practice law while working as a litigation paralegal with a major law firm after college. Following law school (and with no prior military background), I embarked on a journey as an active duty Army JAG attorney. Throughout my eight years as a "soldier-lawyer," I got my feet wet (literally and figuratively), gained lots of good court room experience (prosecuting and later defending soldiers at courts-martial), and also repeatedly pushed myself out of my comfort zone. Perhaps the most exhilirating and scary part of my job was the opportunity to regularly jump out of perfectly good airplanes.

Sharing about my early legal career is just my way of illustrating that over and over again, Eleanor Roosevelt's words have proven prophetic ... across all aspects of my life. The same is very often true for my clients and I'd welcome the chance to help guide them through the challenges (and fears) that bring them to me and my office.

Highly recommend!

Good communication and thorough

Julie was very good about keeping us informed through the entire process. Her counsel was helpful when deciding whether to settle or continue pursuing our case. We were pleased with the professional, yet personal, manner in which she handled our case and with the settlement we were awarded.

Review

She did a very great job with working with the insurance company and the other factors in the situation. Even with moving her company multiple times and having to handle all of that, I felt that I was still a priority for her and wasn't put on the sideline. She updated me regularly on new things and I really felt like she wanted to help me and get the best for me.

phenomenal attorney

Julie Luhrsen is a phenomenal attorney and handled my case very well! Great service - results I could not get on my own.

After my vehicular accident, I was having issues in dealing with the insurance company. I wasn't getting the treatment that I felt I deserved; after all, the accident wasn't my fault. Julie and her team quickly took control of the situation, and became the primary contact for my case in working with the insurance company of the other (guilty) party. Their swift negotiations lead to a settlement and treatment that was fair and just.
