I lived in Jackson County, Florida before moving to Manatee County at age 9. I've lived in Manatee County ever since. I attended school at Palmetto High School, received my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida, and my law degree from Stetson University College of Law. I have worked as both a prosecutor at the State Attorney's Office in Bradenton, and also as an Assistant Public Defender. This well rounded legal background has honed my skills as a zealous advocate for my clients.

Highly recommend
I highly recommend Kristy Guy Zinna! I could not be happier with the service I got from her. Not only was she attentive and answered my endless questions, she also worked hard to get all my paperwork drawn up quickly for me. My divorce was finalized in less than a month with her help. If you are getting divorced and need a great attorney, Kristy Guy Zinna should be at the top of your list!

Exceeded ALL expectations!!
I had full confidence in Kristy Guy Zinna handling my traffic case. Not only was I completely satisfied with the outcome, she exceeded all expectations in a truly professional manner! Ms. Zinna knows what she is doing and it shows! It's nice to have someone representing you that really loves what they do. It was a blessing to have someone so wonderful on my side. If I ever need her services again, she will be the first one I call! I can't reccinend her enough!! Class act, smart & professional!

Help when I needed it
I was fired from another attorney for calling too much to try and get answers I needed due to not being able to return to work due to my weight restriction limits. I was glad I got fired and found my old friend I met years ago was a personal injury attorney now. Kristy helped me through the most stressful time in my life. I would recommend her and Luhrsen to anyone!

Doesn't care truly about you
Her inexperience damaged a life of someone where she could have prevented has she done the work, but chose not to. When called out on it, she decided to ignore and not address or help. I guess it's not her life, so she doesn't care to correct something that clearly could have been prevented. When becoming a lawyer, one should consider being accountable no matter what. Too bad another's life has been adversely affected and she could care less.

"Kristy is a fierce advocate. Her attention to detail and thorough experience in her practice area makes her a force to be reckoned with. As a colleague, I admire Kristy's dedication to her clients and knowledge of the law. As a friend, I admire her ability to demand the best for her clients and be attentive to their needs and the traumatic nature of their experience. I had a law professor once say, "there are very few 'good days' in family court", and I know this to be true. But, even though the case may be rough, with Kristy, her clients will know that they are receiving the best representation from an attorney with the best heart."

"Kristy and I worked together for several years and she was far and away the best person in her position. She's the total package: she understands her clients and their cases, she takes an even-handed view of the case and then goes on to advocate for the best outcome possible. While we no longer work together, I still call her for her thoughts, insights and ideas."

"Kristy is an excellent attorney, who works tirelessly to get the best results for her clients. Having worked both with, and against Kristy in numerous matters, I can attest that she is a tireless worker, and an excellent courtroom advocate. Kristy is a shrewd negotiator, and I would recommend her to anyone injured in an accident or in need of a family law attorney."

"I met Ms. Zinna when I started trying cases against her in 2008. She was an assistant prosecutor and I was an assistant public defender. Her work was so impressive that our office offered her a position as an assistant public defender, which she took. We worked as trial partners for many years and have tried more cases together than I can remember. Ms. Zinna and I have continued to work together in private practice, where she excels at just about everything she touches. Any client who retains Ms. Zinna will be enjoying the best possible legal representation. She's a credit to the profession, and as a community, we're lucky to have her."
