HORRIBLE

Deans practice and office are beyond horrible. I signed up for their waitlist back in April. Said it could be a while which I was ok with. I was receiving emails about my status on the waitlist; on June 18 “you’re number 52” and on July 16 “you are number 18 and you should be contacted in approximate...ly 2 weeks”. I was not contacted in two weeks. When I called to inquire they said unfortunately we had to terminate the list. How does a waitlist get terminated? You serve the next client in line. They would not tell me why. I told them I know this process takes a while but I had till December to get my paperwork in (getting appointments and the VA process takes forever as we all know). They said it wouldn’t be a problem and they would get me in before then. I paid the fee and signed the limited power of attorney. Once they received my VA file they scheduled me for a consult in January 2026. When I asked why it wasn’t before Dec like they had said, they replied with we didn’t say that. YES THEY DID. After this I contacted other firms to see how they operate and every firm I spoke with said that they are not allowed to charge me any fees other than the 20% of retro pay. Dean Law Firm charges a $2500 processing fee plus 20% of retro pay. I have no idea if that is true or not however 4 other firms said it’s not allowed. It is clear since they had me file my intent with the VA in April after I first contacted them, they pushed my case back as far as possible in order to receive maximum back pay from my case. They are only concerned with your money and not you as a veteran.

We hate to hear this from you. We have a long wait list, and at the onset we let prospective clients know this who want pre-filing consult work (which we can charge for/searching for new items that may present and digging through records and other elements which takes a great deal of time). We do not charge to file new claims and appeals/supplementals/20% contingency is standard. Any money you paid for PFC work that you didn't want to pursue because it wasn't to your time preference was refunded in full. Good luck to you.

Leslie Dean, the 100% Team!

The Law Office of Leslie Dean discussed my concerns and walked me through the filing process without any pressure to hire them. Once hired, my every phone call was answered, and every email received a response within a few hours. People often thank me for my service. Thank you and your team Leslie De...an for your commitment to those of us that served and continue to serve our country.

Best Veterans benefits lawyer in Florida......

I can not thank this law firm enough, they have truly been my families saving grace. My father didn't believe in the VA helping him after serving in Vietnam Nam, after his claims being denied by the VA. But with the help of this amazing law firm my father is now 100%. I wished i would of known about ...them sooner. Everyone on this team is super helpful, and truly care about our veterans ... Leslie Dean is amazing!!!!!

Excellent

Ms. Dean came highly recommended by a fellow veteran who was having difficulty getting disability coverage . I contacted the Law Offices of Leslie Dean and to this day very happy that I did . With all the frustrations of having tried so many times to get the VA to award me the 100% disability I had ...been try to get for the past 10 years for disabilities stemming from my time in Vietnam such as agent orange , PTSD . Attorney Dean and paralegal Melvin Drury made the process of claiming disability benefits stress less. I highly recommend Their services to any veteran who’s going through the difficult process of maneuvering the challenging task of getting your claims accepted . I thank God that attorney Dean was recommended to me and I highly recommend any veteran who is looking for someone who really cares for veterans and their families . Thanks again Leslie , God bless
