The best stand out from the rest.

The wait was worth it. Mrs. DEAN is in high demand because her team does great work. I was patient and Mrs. DEAN's consuot was on point. She was proffesional, knowledgable, experienced, imformative, but most of all she was down to earth friendly. I spoke with her one time and she spoke to me as if we... had been longtime friends and were catching back up with life. I really appreciated her guidance and how quickly her team got to work. The entire process was streamlined and effective. I really cant speak highly enough of her and her team's capabilities. Thank you Dean Law team. 5 stars+

HORRIBLE

Deans practice and office are beyond horrible. I signed up for their waitlist back in April. Said it could be a while which I was ok with. I was receiving emails about my status on the waitlist; on June 18 “you’re number 52” and on July 16 “you are number 18 and you should be contacted in approximate...ly 2 weeks”. I was not contacted in two weeks. When I called to inquire they said unfortunately we had to terminate the list. How does a waitlist get terminated? You serve the next client in line. They would not tell me why. I told them I know this process takes a while but I had till December to get my paperwork in (getting appointments and the VA process takes forever as we all know). They said it wouldn’t be a problem and they would get me in before then. I paid the fee and signed the limited power of attorney. Once they received my VA file they scheduled me for a consult in January 2026. When I asked why it wasn’t before Dec like they had said, they replied with we didn’t say that. YES THEY DID. After this I contacted other firms to see how they operate and every firm I spoke with said that they are not allowed to charge me any fees other than the 20% of retro pay. Dean Law Firm charges a $2500 processing fee plus 20% of retro pay. I have no idea if that is true or not however 4 other firms said it’s not allowed. It is clear since they had me file my intent with the VA in April after I first contacted them, they pushed my case back as far as possible in order to receive maximum back pay from my case. They are only concerned with your money and not you as a veteran.

We hate to hear this from you. We have a long wait list, and at the onset we let prospective clients know this who want pre-filing consult work (which we can charge for/searching for new items that may present and digging through records and other elements which takes a great deal of time). We do not charge to file new claims and appeals/supplementals/20% contingency is standard. Any money you paid for PFC work that you didn't want to pursue because it wasn't to your time preference was refunded in full. Good luck to you.

Outstanding Legal Service

I'm writing to express my sincere and gracious appreciation for the Leslie Dean law office for their assistance with my claim. She is a staunch advocate for veterans services. From my initial consultation, to the final result, Leslie Dean and her office were exceptional. From evidence gathering to ...keeping me updated on every facet of case. I would and have referred anyone looking for legal counsel to contact her office. I thank her and her office immensely.

Clear communication and a thorough review led to a better VA outcome

After 15 years of putting off my VA disability claim, mostly because the process felt like trying to read a map in the dark, I finally turned to Leslie Dean’s firm. From the very first email, their team made the maze feel manageable. Every question I sent (and there were plenty) was answered clearly,... in everyday language, and almost always within 24 hours. When my consultation day arrived, six months after joining the wait-list, any lingering nerves vanished. Leslie’s reassuring, approachable demeanor paired with her deep knowledge of VA law gave me instant confidence that I was in the right hands. The real game-changer, though, was the firm’s thoroughness. They combed through my service and medical records with a fine-tooth comb, uncovering several conditions I never realized were service-related. Because of that diligence, my final rating was higher than I ever thought possible, life-changing for me and my family. Every staff member I interacted with was professional, polite, and genuinely seemed to care about my outcome. Yes, the wait for a consultation is real, but it is absolutely worth it. It seems Leslie approaches each veteran’s case with a simple mission: you served your country; now she’ll fight to make sure you get what you’ve earned. I wholeheartedly recommend the Law Office of Leslie Dean to any veteran feeling lost in the VA system. Their expertise and compassion turned a daunting process into a victory.
