I am a Southwest Florida attorney Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by The Florida Bar. Certification is the highest level of recognition given by The Florida Bar for competency and experience within an area of law. My practice focuses on providing representation in the areas of employment law, insurance claims, whistleblower representation, and civil litigation.
As an expert in employment law, I specialize in representations involving overtime (FLSA), discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, whistleblowers, non-compete agreements, FMLA, USERRA, ERISA, unpaid wages/commissions, employment contracts, and the False Claims Act (qui tam).
I also have substantial experience litigating insurance claims, including hurricane damage, commericial property, disability insurance, life insurance, and most other matters involving litigation against an insurance company. Lately, my insurance practice has concentrated on providing representation for families and businesses denied appropriate insurance coverage following Hurricane Irma.
In addition to the above areas, I provide representation for victims of sexual misconduct, and most business litigation matters.

highly referred by previous clients...
Brad Rothman & his staff was not only helpful through our entire process, but also explained every detail of our situation as details became available. We will definitely turn to him again if we're in need of an attorney in the Southwest Florida area.

This is who you want working for you.
From the first meeting with Mr. Rothman I knew I'd made the right choice. There was a comforting sense of confidence that was proven true throughout my case. "Quality of service" is the phrase I use when I recommend Mr. Rothman and his staff. He knew what to do, and got it done when he said he would....

Review Bradley Paul Rothman
We retained the services of Mr. Rothman in an unemployment contract dispute. Through his experience and knowledge, he was able to use case studies and other argumentation, resulting in a successful resolution of the matter without further litigation
"I have worked with Brad on a number of cases and I find him to be among the most client focused lawyers I deal with. He works very hard for his clients. In addition, Brad's research and writing abilities are extraordinary. He is able to get to the heart of the issue in a clear and concise manner and makes compelling arguments for his clients."
"Brad Rothman is an excellent attorney. He is knowledgeable and talented in the courtroom -- and always well-regarded by clients. We have worked together on many cases involving sexual misconduct in the workplace and achieved great results. I give Brad my highest endorsement."
"I've worked with Brad since the beginning of my career. He's a tremendous advocate for his clients, and a pleasure to work with. Brad always takes a balanced, intelligent approach which is to the benefit of anyone working with him, clients and attorneys."
"Bradley Rothman is tough, but reasonable. He is quick to respond to inquiries and diligent about meeting deadlines. He is the kind of person who does what he says he is going to do. This inspires trust and confidence, even when he's an adversary. If he tells you he'll have something to you by 5:00, you can bank on that. He's very thorough and there is a gentility about him that I really respect. I work in Broward and he is in Collier. He never took advantage of the fact that there are some local customs and rules in Collier that I was unfamiliar with. On the contrary, he pointed me in the right direction when he thought appropriate to do so. And finally his even temper helps him maintain decorum and professionalism even in the most stressful and unpleasant of situations. All in all a really good lawyer."
"I endorse this lawyer. This is your employment and labor attorney. A highly intelligent and knowledgeable attorney."
"Brad is the rare find between a subject matter expert attorney and a compassionate and empathetic counselor. Brad works tirelessly to achieve his clients goals to the best of his abilities. I have in the past, and will continue to in the future, refer clients to Brad."
"Brad is exceptional lawyer, and has earned a reputation for excellence in the area of employment and labor law. He is very knowledgeable and practices with integrity and professionalism. I fully endorse Brad."
"Brad Rothman is an excellent employment law attorney. He truly understands the intricacies of labor law and uses his skill set, resources, and work ethic to get the job done. If you have an employment issue or dispute, Brad Rothman is a problem solver and a great attorney to have on your side."
"I have known Brad both personally and professionally for about five years. I have had the opportunity to observe Brad's practice in employment law and litigation. Having done so I can say without reservation that Brad is an exceptional lawyer in every respect. He is thorough, a zealous advocate for his clients, creative and caring. I routinely come to Brad for his advice and judgment in my own affairs. I would highly recommend Brad to any prospective client, or as co-counsel in any case requiring his level of skill and expertise."
