Part 2- Bad Experience

As the author of the review below, I will tell you that I most definitely WAS a legitimate client of this attorney. I would never hire him again and that is not why I decided to use anonymity. Based off of my experience with him and his staff, I feel that they did not deserve my business. As I said, ...the work was done and I was happy with the result but I would have rather given the money to a lawyer who has a better attitude, and an attorney who does not speak to a client on the phone using constant sarcasm and snide remarks. I found it highly unprofessional.

Well again certainly like most of my clients you are happy with your charges being DROPPED. That is off course what people generally want when they HIRE a lawyer "to keep them out of jail and prison". Obviously charges don't get dismissed by themselves unless there is some level of skill and experience that the lawyer must use to get these charges to be dropped. I can assure you my reputation with the State Attorney's Office is not of a timid flower. This is officially the first client that I've had in my 18 years who has their charges dropped and claims to be disappointed in how we "professionally"handled their case , while still getting it dropped! While your name remains anonymous, hopefully you won't be needing the services of a criminal lawyer in the future. None the less 99% of my clients speak with 5 stars. You have your charges dropped and give us 1 star.???.Yes that's immensely reasonable on your part.

Bad Experience

I was a client of this lawyer. He was very rude, abrasive, and disrespectful to me on the phone. Unfortunately I had already paid him for the work , otherwise I would have found another lawyer to do the job. He does not exercise professionalism when it comes to bedside manner. However, the work was... done and he was able to get my case "somewhat dismissed" but I still had to pay the fine (traffic citation). Happy with result. Unhappy with the customer service.

I have no idea who this alleged former client is. Perhaps they may wish to not identify themselves in case they get arrested again in the future and want to hire us again to have their charges dismissed. It's true that many of my clients do get their charges completely dismissed. Most people who are facing losing their freedom and going to jail or prison, would be very happy with paying a simple traffic ticket.! Compared to the 99% of the other reviews on this site, you can take whoever this individual claims to be with a grain of salt. Could very well be someone who's never even been a client, but has read all the other reviews about how charges are routinely dismissed, and is trying to sound legitimate. At our firm we don't tell our clients what they want to hear, we only tell them the truth and we get the job done. This reputation for honesty is shared by all of the different state Attorneys Offices that we work with. When we say something they believe it . Please take a moment and look at our results section on our website and you judge for yourself.

DO NOT USE THIS MAN! Horrible experience

I hired Mr. Raheb to defend myself in a DUI case. When I first went in to meet with him for a consult, he was on the phone screaming at another client. I should have realized then that this was not the lawyer for me. We sat down, had our consult and Mr. Raheb and his staff were very friendly that... day, although he did keep looking at his watch and I felt rushed throughout the entire consult. I decided to go ahead and hire him that day despite some of the red flags. Worst decision of my life. Throughout the entire case, any time I tried to contact Mr. Raheb his secretary would answer the phone and act like she could answer any questions I had for Mr. Raheb. Once, when I'd had enough and asked for the 3rd time to speak to him, she got very irate with me and started yelling at me over the phone and said he'll have to call you back. Well, guess what.......I never got a phone call back. When I did get the chance to speak with him, he was very rude and short with me as were all off his office staff and the other attorney that works with him. He had recommended that I complete a rehab program and that it would count towards my jail time if I received any. I did 30 days in a rehab facility. On sentencing day, he asked the judge if those 30 days could count towards the jail time, she asked was it in the plea agreement? He said no, so guess what?! The judge said no. Now isn't an attorney supposed to know that it should have been in the plea agreement? I would think a good attorney would. After my sentence was served, I contacted a friends attorney and they said he could think of 100 better lawyers to use than Mr. Raheb. I wish I would have know that prior to hiring him. So please, unless you want a ridiculous plea offer and you like attorneys who won't give you or your case the time of day, stay away from him.

First of all the person who wrote this is not my client. The client is actually serving three years prison. That person had their 5th or 6th dui. Even though the state actually only knew of the one. The one with serious bodily injury to two innocent victims who nearly were killed. The blood alcohol level was a .332 taken at the hospital! That is four times the legal limit!!! People have actually died of alcohol poisoning with a smaller alcohol percentage in their bloodstream . He drove his vehicle right into their vehicle, occupied by multiple people who are injured. In total there were six victims of one DUI! Fortunately only two were seriously injured. Sadly it is cases like this that the state uses to justify their penalties on even simple DUI. Second, a one(1) year old and an adult were so seriously injured that they needed multiple surgeries. One of the victims had already been paralyzed previously by another drunk driver, and experienced her second DUI accident at the hands of a drunk driver. These are important facts that the writer of this review may have wanted to mention , if thet were not being hypocrites . A One-year-old may never walk straight again! The D.U.I ctually occurred in broad daylight . The person actually was facing ten ( 10) years prison!. The minimum sentence he was actually facing was nearly seven years in prison. You notice there is no name on this review,(lol), so it's probably a family member who's writing this from another state, where my client had picked up his other DUI's. If they in fact cared so much for him, and maybe while he was back in the state of Missouri, they should have asked him to at least enter him in a residential drug program after his third or fourth DUI?? Before he nearly killed two innocent people. I was able to convince the state after conducting a DMV hearing, to reduce the sentence from 7 years prison down to three years, and even DISMISSED one felony. I must have received well over 30 phone calls, at all times of the weekend(all clients get my cell), and was always available for the client. At least a dozen or more emails, 30 or more texts (from Missouri perhaps) from him and his family. The client in fact was told from the very beginning to sign up for a long term residential program, of at least 90 days or longer, but said he could only do 25 day as per his insurance!. The only fortunate thing in the entire case was that the people who were seriously injured, Thank God, had very good insurance. The victims who originally had demanded prison, agreed to a shorter prison sentence in part because they were able to receive some kind of recovery for their permanent injuries. So if perhaps the client is writing these posts from prison, he should be happy that two people are still alive and the state attorney ultimately never found out about the prior DUI's. Simply compare this one review with the 99% approval rate I have from all my other clients. And you'll know that some people, who are driving in the road with an alcohol level 4 times the legal limit, still feel they did nothing wrong! The family was more concerned with the contents of their own vehicle, then the actual injured victims. The 30 days was never agreed to by the state, so we said why not just ask the judge, after all she can always agree to it if she wants to. No one had expected the 30 days to actually count, given that the prison sentence was cut in half! Incidentally the fee that I charged for this particular case was also extremely reasonable and typically charged by most attorneys with 17 + years of experience for a simple Misdemeanor first time DUI. What this email also doesn't say is the fact that my client spoke to at least three other attorneys who also confirmed to him that the deal was very good considering the unfortunate terrible facts. I genuinely felt sorry for the tragic dat that he had experienced himself. You've got love the Show Me State and how appreciative they are.
