Highly Recommend! If you're unsure which lawyer to choose, go with this guy!

Well, I have to be honest. My wife and I got into a dispute and I of course ended up getting arrested. My wife did not want to press charges as she felt that it wasn't fair because neither party was innocent. Anyhow, she called and found Mr. Raheb. He was referred to her from a previous lawyer she ha...d used, Ryan Hamilton (who as well is a GREAT lawyer), who only handled Family Law. She said she spoke to Raheb and she said, "Sure, he sounds a little bit cocky and a little bit outspoken, but THAT is EXACTLY the kind of lawyer you want. Not some meek, mild, and go with the flow kind of guy. You want someone who's proactive and gets the job done." I hired him immediately. My wife is pretty good at making decisions, so I went with her advice. Once I hired Raheb, he immediately had my wife fill out a new sworn affidavit, as the police told her piece by piece what to say in the police statement. (Which was very obvious that she had by the wording that was in the statement.) She agreed. She filled it out honestly and he emailed it to the State Attorney right away. In his words, " I'm not going to sit around and WAIT for the State Attorney to file, I want to stop it before he decides to file. I'm going to email him, I'm going to make calls, and I'm going to try to get this dismissed as quickly as possible." I was impressed. Within a couple of weeks, the State Attorney had thrown out the case, I was able to talk and see my family again, and my military career hadn't been affected. I have 14 years in the Army and it would have definitely hurt my career. But it was a smooth process, I truly truly would recommend you see this guy. He's rough, tough, and gets the job done. You want out of your mess? Believe me----go with this guy!!!! Don't seconds guess, just hire him. Don't end up paying a crazy retainer for some lawyer who acts like your case is "just another case." This guy is your guy.

Michael Raheb was recommended to me by a Fort Myers policeman as being the best in the area

Caught by the Sheriff for speeding and received 2 citations Driving whilst suspended, disqualified/License expired Panic set in when I realised that I had to attend court, the date being after my proposed return to UK. From the minute I contacted Michael, on a Sunday I was put at ease and confident... that he could act in my best interest. Both charges were dismissed.Michael and Beth are great communicators and kept me informed as to process and outcommes at all stages. The whole episode was handled with great experetise and empathy, I say that as the whole process is so very different from UK law and therefore quite bewildering and frankly frightening, if the court case had not been handled we could have been refused entry into the country on a future occasion Thankyou, thankyou.for the wonderful service you gave me

Unprofessional

Presumed my guilt without looking at evidence, changed my plea without my knowledge or consent , then got angry and aggressive when asked why. My recommendation is : 1) Check his Bar Record & 2) Steer Clear

This is the fourth negative review this individual wrote who is a member of a prepaid legal program. He was doing 98 miles per hour in Collier County ( one of the strictest counties in Florida) and also received a second citation. We contacted him multiple times , by email and phone, including the day before the hearing to confirm what he wanted to do. He yelled and screamed at my Legal Assistant Courtneyvafter she tried to explain to him how to get on the zoom the following day. He then said he was going to fire us and then called back and informed my second paralegal Norelle, that he wanted us to handle, didn't have time to appear and just wanted no points. Just a very normal reaction when people admittedly violated the speed traffic rules especially 28 miles over the speed limit! At the hearing we're able to negotiate a Full Dismissal of one citation, and no points and no school on the second citation. The next day, Right after the hearing, we immediately emailed and called him and "he thanked us"! This is the care and attention hat we give to every one of our clients even if we're just handling a civil traffic infraction. It is also the reason that year after year we are ranked AVVO PReferred Attorney in client rankings as we are voted again in 2021.

First call was so abusive I had to end call

I had only given him one or two sentence summary of what I was looking for. This is no joke this abuse. Believe these people when they say that he treat you like a nightmare He must have a full schedule in order to just swap people away like their flights. I’m a well educated very polite well manne...red person. I was raised right and treat everyone with respect. So no matter what is written about this review I’m sure it’s a misrepresentation of how it went. Believe these people it’s shockingly true

DO NOT USE THIS MAN! Horrible experience

I hired Mr. Raheb to defend myself in a DUI case. When I first went in to meet with him for a consult, he was on the phone screaming at another client. I should have realized then that this was not the lawyer for me. We sat down, had our consult and Mr. Raheb and his staff were very friendly that... day, although he did keep looking at his watch and I felt rushed throughout the entire consult. I decided to go ahead and hire him that day despite some of the red flags. Worst decision of my life. Throughout the entire case, any time I tried to contact Mr. Raheb his secretary would answer the phone and act like she could answer any questions I had for Mr. Raheb. Once, when I'd had enough and asked for the 3rd time to speak to him, she got very irate with me and started yelling at me over the phone and said he'll have to call you back. Well, guess what.......I never got a phone call back. When I did get the chance to speak with him, he was very rude and short with me as were all off his office staff and the other attorney that works with him. He had recommended that I complete a rehab program and that it would count towards my jail time if I received any. I did 30 days in a rehab facility. On sentencing day, he asked the judge if those 30 days could count towards the jail time, she asked was it in the plea agreement? He said no, so guess what?! The judge said no. Now isn't an attorney supposed to know that it should have been in the plea agreement? I would think a good attorney would. After my sentence was served, I contacted a friends attorney and they said he could think of 100 better lawyers to use than Mr. Raheb. I wish I would have know that prior to hiring him. So please, unless you want a ridiculous plea offer and you like attorneys who won't give you or your case the time of day, stay away from him.

First of all the person who wrote this is not my client. The client is actually serving three years prison. That person had their 5th or 6th dui. Even though the state actually only knew of the one. The one with serious bodily injury to two innocent victims who nearly were killed. The blood alcohol level was a .332 taken at the hospital! That is four times the legal limit!!! People have actually died of alcohol poisoning with a smaller alcohol percentage in their bloodstream . He drove his vehicle right into their vehicle, occupied by multiple people who are injured. In total there were six victims of one DUI! Fortunately only two were seriously injured. Sadly it is cases like this that the state uses to justify their penalties on even simple DUI. Second, a one(1) year old and an adult were so seriously injured that they needed multiple surgeries. One of the victims had already been paralyzed previously by another drunk driver, and experienced her second DUI accident at the hands of a drunk driver. These are important facts that the writer of this review may have wanted to mention , if thet were not being hypocrites . A One-year-old may never walk straight again! The D.U.I ctually occurred in broad daylight . The person actually was facing ten ( 10) years prison!. The minimum sentence he was actually facing was nearly seven years in prison. You notice there is no name on this review,(lol), so it's probably a family member who's writing this from another state, where my client had picked up his other DUI's. If they in fact cared so much for him, and maybe while he was back in the state of Missouri, they should have asked him to at least enter him in a residential drug program after his third or fourth DUI?? Before he nearly killed two innocent people. I was able to convince the state after conducting a DMV hearing, to reduce the sentence from 7 years prison down to three years, and even DISMISSED one felony. I must have received well over 30 phone calls, at all times of the weekend(all clients get my cell), and was always available for the client. At least a dozen or more emails, 30 or more texts (from Missouri perhaps) from him and his family. The client in fact was told from the very beginning to sign up for a long term residential program, of at least 90 days or longer, but said he could only do 25 day as per his insurance!. The only fortunate thing in the entire case was that the people who were seriously injured, Thank God, had very good insurance. The victims who originally had demanded prison, agreed to a shorter prison sentence in part because they were able to receive some kind of recovery for their permanent injuries. So if perhaps the client is writing these posts from prison, he should be happy that two people are still alive and the state attorney ultimately never found out about the prior DUI's. Simply compare this one review with the 99% approval rate I have from all my other clients. And you'll know that some people, who are driving in the road with an alcohol level 4 times the legal limit, still feel they did nothing wrong! The family was more concerned with the contents of their own vehicle, then the actual injured victims. The 30 days was never agreed to by the state, so we said why not just ask the judge, after all she can always agree to it if she wants to. No one had expected the 30 days to actually count, given that the prison sentence was cut in half! Incidentally the fee that I charged for this particular case was also extremely reasonable and typically charged by most attorneys with 17 + years of experience for a simple Misdemeanor first time DUI. What this email also doesn't say is the fact that my client spoke to at least three other attorneys who also confirmed to him that the deal was very good considering the unfortunate terrible facts. I genuinely felt sorry for the tragic dat that he had experienced himself. You've got love the Show Me State and how appreciative they are.
