Jean-Paul Galasso

I meet Mr. Galasso for the first time 2 years ago. My son and I are from Indiana and while my son was on spring break in Ft. Myers he was arrested. Not knowing anyone in the Ft. Myers area, my son found Mr. Galasso thru his bail bondsman. Looking back now along this 2 year journey with my son and ...Mr. Galasso, I could not have asked for anyone better than to have Mr. Galasso represent my son. Mr. Galasso ALWAYS answered our questions, answered our calls, answered our emails and was always very direct as to what was to be expected of my son as his legal process progressed. In addition to this , at the time of my son's arrest my son was being held without release after bond was posted due to paperwork misplacement. Mr. Galasso knowing all paperwork was in place took the time well after working hours (7pm) to go to the jail and have my son released immediately. I was in Indiana at this time so I could not have been more grateful for Mr. Galasso's immediate presence in my absence. I had the privilege of meeting J. P. Galasso when he was a state attorney and he later transitioned to the defense side of the law. Mr. Galasso has represented my family in several different cases. It is my opinion that Jean-Paul Galasso is possibly the greatest attorney SWFL has to offer. He defended in me in a criminal battery/touch/strike case with my ex that snowballed into a paternity case in which I temporarily and unjustly lost custody of my 4-year-old son in civil court. Afterwards, I r...eturned to Jean-Paul and asked him to come on the case to help get my son back. It was a nearly impossible task as my ex had employed 3 attorneys from a big name law firm in town, as well as key witnesses in his back pocket, but most importantly, the judge had already made his ruling. Other attorneys were convinced the judge would keep the child with the father until the supplemental petition trial. Although things seemed hopeless, Jean-Paul's tireless effort, strategic planning and execution in court convinced the judge to reverse his emergency order to terminate timesharing and return the child immediately. There are no words to express my feelings of joy and gratitude that day, but it was because of this attorney that I have my son back home. I would recommend him to anyone who has a criminal or family law case no matter how big or small. If anyone has a parental alienation case like mine, you will want this attorney for sure! He has special knowledge and skills in the area and knows how to expose it. Jean-Paul exudes confidence, professionalism and integrity in his practice of law.
