Divorce & Chid Custody
Amanda represented me for my divorce and custody case. First of all, she is a good person and that makes a huge difference. I truly mean that! Amanda really is a beautiful person-- all the way to her core. I really appreciate the honesty and integrity she showed me. Secondly, she is upfront, ...

I would give zero stars if I could.
Amanda is very pleasant to deal with. However, for my family law case I spent weeks compiling evidence for my final hearing. Not a single piece of evidence was submitted. Including proof I'd been paying child support for over two years. I then had to go back to court, without an attorney, and have th...
It always concerns me when I learn that a client had a bad experience with my firm. I understand this client also substantiated his review by failing to pay for my fees. It is unfortunate that this client did not feel that I cared about his case when I went to trial despite the fact there was money owed and I took a great risk in not getting paid for my services. However, I still wanted to help this client with what was a very difficult situation. Unfortunately, we did go through some employee changes until I could find the right person to properly communicate and work hard for my clients. I appreciate when clients assist in gathering evidence. However, admission of evidence is a tactical decision. It is not always in my client's best interest to admit such evidence particularly if it is more damaging than helpful and paints my client in an unfavorable light. Part of my job is knowing the judges and there are judges that will not respond favorably to the content in certain evidence. Sometimes the perceived weight of the evidence is outweighed by what it reveals about a client.

Amazing Lawyer
I am truly grateful to have found Amanda and her team. I have been trying to establish a relationship with my son for years. Because my son and his mother often moved between states, it made it very difficult for me. Shortly after my son moved to Florida I contacted Amanda's office. I was greeted by ...

Amanda handled my divorce
Needless to say going through a divorce is a 10 on the scale of stress. OK here is a quick glimpse of my situation. My wife and I decided we wanted a divorce, and my wife filed for the divorce. The reality doesn't hit you until a guy shows up at your door with the papers. My goal was to keep the diff...

Child custody and divorce
Hired Ms Salcido for child custody hearing and divorce. Ex spouse was withholding the child from me and had a temporary relief hearing. Ms Salcido was suppose to write up the results from the case, meanwhile ex spouse or soon to be ex at the time took advantage of the documents not written up immedia...
I was hired to represent the client right before the temporary hearing and agreed to take the case just days before the hearing. I agreed to take the case with only a partial payment (I recall he paid me at the courthouse) because I believed the client needed help since the spouse was represented by a seasoned attorney (that same attorney later commented on what a good job I did for the client). At the hearing, the spouse was seeking supervised visitation based on the young age of the child. Following the hearing, the client ended up with overnights with a very young child. I also met with the client every time he dropped by my office unannounced and not once charged him for my time. The only thing that was delayed was the actual order from the temporary hearing (based on proposed changes and corrections between attorneys) which resulted in the client receiving much needed time with the child. It is unfortunate after having received the time with his child this client still felt the need to disparage the work I did and leave a bad review.
