Paul Ramos is a Certified Criminal Law Specialist through the Arizona Board of Legal Specialization, State Bar of Arizona and is also a member of and currently chairs the Criminal Law Advisory Committee. Mr. Ramos has enjoyed a criminal defense career spanning approximately 21 years and is qualified to practice in all Arizona State Courts as well as the United States District Court. He has been a member of the American Bar Association, Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Mr. Ramos has conducted over 100 trials including charges of Capital Murder (death penalty), second degree murder, manslaughter, sexual conduct with minors, child molestation, sexual abuse, and numerous DUI's. Mr. Ramos has also handled high profile media cases which have received both local and national media coverage. Mr. Ramos received training from the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, the Institute for Criminal Defense Advocacy and the Fifth International Conference of the National Child Abuse Defense and Resource Center. Mr. Ramos has also instructed at the Maricopa County Public Defender Trial Advocacy Skills College and lectured at the college level in the areas of substantive criminal law and criminal procedure.
