Simply put, a down-to-earth, effective, proffessional attorney.

I've had my share of issues in the past, and James A. May, ESQ. is the best there is. If you think it's impossible to find an attorney who ACTUALLY cares about your well being, freedom, and rights, then talk to James. He knows what to say and when to say it to get you justice. He understands the real...ity of how our justice system works, that an accusation is nothing more than that, an accusation. He respects you and treats you like a human being the second you walk in the room. He went out of his way to make sure I was ok when I was falsly arrested and held for an excessive period of time, even arranging bail and contacting my girlfriend to keep her updated. I'm proud to call him a friend and owe my peace of mind to him. I was brought up on burglary and trespassing charges for a location I was over 100 miles away from when the alleged crime occured based on manipulated police statements of "eye witnesses". Great attorney

I hired Mr. May to represent me when I was charged with a DUI related to an accident in Pinellas County. He was always available to answer my million questions when I was scared and insecure. He negotiated a great deal and I would recommend him to anyone.

Great Hard Working Lawyer

Hired James to help me with a felony charge that I was facing and he was able to deliver on everything I asked. Because of Mr. May my charge was reduced and I was given a withhold of adjudication to prevent me from carrying the felony on my record. Every time I called my phone call was either answere...d of returned in a very timely manner. I would say overall I was very satisfied and would definitely recommend James to anybody in need of legal services.

aggressive, hard working attorney

James represented me when I was charged with two felonies at the same time. One was for grand theft and the other was an illegal firearm charge. James impressed me right off the bat with his knowledge and confidence. He very quickly took care of the firearm charge by bringing to light the fact that t...he search of my vehicle was illegal. charges were never filed. He also represented me on the grand theft charge. He managed to get me a pretty good plea deal and drop the charge from a felony to misdemeanor with 12 months probation all while working with a stubborn states attorney. I highly recommend James and have to all my friends.
