Unfortunately , I had to utilize Kevin's brilliant services not once, but TWICE! I know, I know I am now a statistic in the lovely state of Florida. My first DUI was Jan 2014, I did everything that they asked me to do, I did all of the sobriety tests and I blew a .234 (yikes) . The second that I was... released I called Kevin. He won my DMV hearing so I NEVER lost my license, we won my motion to suppress the blow...thats right...my .234 blow ..POOF gone. He called and said that the DA reduced to a reckless driving withholding adjudication. This case took 2 years from start to finish and he communicated with me every step of the way. I never doubted him as my attorney. In January 2016 I was pulled over for speeding and I completed panicked and pretty much refused everything, even wanting to get out of the car. I was so scorned from the first case that every horror story of people getting 2 DUI's made me seize up and just not want to exist . Yet again, Kevin was by my side and 9 months later the case was reduced to reckless driving. I never received an interlock in my car or an ankle monitor and even my court fees were lower than I expected, however; part of the deal was jail time. I volunteered, yes I said volunteered to go to jail for the reduction. The deal was 5 days, I turned myself in and was there for a little over 24 hours. I was willing to do anything that I needed to avoid a DUI conviction. I know some of you may be thinking "Wow, this girl got lucky" . I don't believe in luck, I believe in Kevin and in his knowledge of the system. I also believe in his commitment that he truly wants the best outcome for you. His assistant, Laureen, always rapid-fire replied to all of my emails and questions. Not once did I ever feel that my case wasn't important to him. After a total of 3 years and several pennies later, I would not change a thing. Kevin is hands down the best DUI defense attorney around....PERIOD

My grandson was arrested for a DUI and possession of drugs. I live out of state and was reluctant on how to locate an attorney for him. With the help of my daughter who lives in Boston Mass. I reviewed the CV's of multiple lawyers. After we narrowed down the field we both flew down to Tampa to meet w...ith the 3 that were on our list. The first one was very nice and seemed smart but seemed only to tell us how great he was and showed us a wall of letters from former clients and how about how many times he's been interviewed on TV. The second one brought in three lawyers but seemed fixated on the money it would cost and seemed to hurry us along. We met with Mr. Hayslett last. I should point out that we were over an hour late for our 4:30 appointment. My daughter wanted to hire the first attorney and go back tom our hotel room. I not wanting to be rude, even though we were late insisted we keep our appointment. Sometimes it's the little decisions in life that change everything. When we met with Mr. Hayslett all I can say is that I felt better, calmer and that he cared. What was strange to me is that unlike all the other lawyers I've dealt with including several that I go to church with and one that's married to my cousin is that Mr. Hayslett didn't talk about himself or his big wins, he simply listened. He didn't talk about money. After he heard us out and answered all of our questions he asked us to sleep on our important decision. He was complimentary of the other two lawyers we met with and did not even ask us to sign anything. He gave us his cell number and said to call or text if we had any additional questions then apologized because he had a event to go to for one of his children. Fast forward almost ten months later. All charges were dismissed and my grandson has moved back to Mass with my daughter. It wasn't quick but it worked out perfectly for us. Mr. Hayslett is a kind gentleman that I can never repay.
