Christie’s services were referred to me by another attorney and I am so thankful I reached out to Christie. I was able to get right in for a consultation. Don't be put off by the $150 consult fee -- it is worth it! She absolutely knows the case law and anything and everything pertaining to studen...t loan debt (both federal and private). In addition to being extremely knowledgeable, Christie is fair in her pricing and answers any questions you may have – I have even emailed back and forth with her in the evenings. What other attorney offers that kind of service?! I would highly recommend anyone who is struggling with figuring out how to manage their student loan debt, trying to figure out how to settle their loans, etc to reach out to Christie. It was such a relief and pleasure to hire Christie to resolve some very difficult student loan issues. First, I was lied to concerning my parent plus loans stating that if I were to die the loans would pass to my son. She verified that this is not true. I was also told after I consolidated my loan...s that I did not qualify for loan forgiveness as they were for my son, not me. Also not true, but unfortunately I retired and can no longer apply for forgiveness. She was able to get my son set on the right track for getting his loans settled as well.
