Christie is a Life Saver and the Best Lawyer You Will EVER Find! Highly Recommended!

I can't even begin to express my gratitude for what Christie has done for me. Student loan debt can be an absolute nightmare and I finally came to grips with finding a resolution after years of struggles. I had high student loan debt -- both federal and private and her knowledge and expertise m...akes her the BEST student loan lawyer in the USA. From the minute I met Christie she made me feel at ease, she is honest and to the point. She is very intelligent and extremely knowledgable in all areas of student loans. I felt very comfortable hiring Christie as she broke everything down for me, and was very fair on how much everything would cost. I had a very complex case with multi lenders (federal, private loans/professional student loans) but Christie and her team were able to help me restore my life. One of the worst parts, is having creditors call numerous times throughout the day -- Christie was able to stop calls immediately. Just when I thought my life was financially over, Christie was able to fight loan companies for me and get immediate resolutions in my favor. She eliminated a huge chunk of my loans in no time giving me financial freedom. I am to the point where I can comfortably live, saving money each month for the first time in a long time. If you need help with your student loan debt or any debt I wouldn't look anywhere else, you will simply be wasting your time. We all do searches to find the best lawyer with our issues, but please save yourself time and look no further! I had other lawyers recommend Christie to me because student loan debt is over their heads and such a complex area. Thank you for everything you have done for me Christie (and thanks to your amazing staff as well).

Great

I consulted with Christie regarding a foreclosure on my deceased parents estate. I was interested in shortselling the home to a childhood friend. Only problem we had less than a month to sort through and figure everything out. Christie postponed the sale date immediately then her and her staff went ...in and negotiated all the way until the day hour i mean literally down to the minute during closing to make what I was trying to do happen in which she was successful! Even with a bank that was rejecting declining and refusing to work anything out with me before hiring Christie. Christie was professional informative and responded pretty fast with great ending results. Her fees were very reasonable and I woudnt hesitate to refer her to anyone and I definitely will let her represent me again if ever need it.

Wonderful experience

After years, literally, of fighting vultures alone I conceded to the legal help I desperately needed. Within a very short time I found myself at the closure and outcome I had been praying for. I needed someone to take over a mess I could not escape and 'save me', frankly. Attorney Arkovich did j...ust that. She and her team have been my saving grace and I am forever grateful for that. While no one can guarantee a victory - and I stress that she never did that because I've heard stories of other lawyers promising the moon and delivering old cheese - I feel I was in good hands during this ordeal. What she did promise was to be my ally every step of the way and I feel she delivered. Most importantly, if things hadn't gone my way, I believe that I would still be able to recommend her as council to anyone lost in this intricacies of our legal system. From our first meeting I felt very at-ease with the process and steps to come. I knew what was expected of me and, for the first time since being served, felt like I wasn't alone. That may not be important to everyone but, to me, it was everything. Should you find yourself, as I did, thinking about getting professional help on a problem beyond your scope, I strongly recommend this attorney. It's no-risk; high reward for those who might need a helping hand.

Excellent Bankruptcy, Mortgage and Foreclosure Defense

My wife and I appreciate and value everything Christie has done in order for us to keep our home. Without her expertise and assistance, we would have gone through foreclosure, lost our home and still been liable for a second mortgage. Prior to engaging Christie, we enlisted the services of three ...other attorneys for bankruptcy, mortgage and/or foreclosure defense. We found one that helped us through the bankruptcy, but only really provided “logistic” support. It was difficult to get straight forward answers and they were not nearly as knowledgeable as Christie. The other two were arrogant and seemed to only be in it for the money with extensive “fine print” that would have made it unfeasible to settle any negotiated amount. Bankruptcy: Our original bankruptcy attorney only helped us with our “secured” debt obligations. We tried to get them to include our second mortgage but said there was no way to include that in our Chapter 7 filing, although I had found some cases in which it had been done based on the fact that our home was upside down and there was no value for the second to secure. The court approved our bankruptcy and discharged our obligations, except for the second mortgage since we didn’t include that in the filing. When we met with Christie, she informed us that we in fact could have the second mortgage stripped off and helped us reopen the original bankruptcy. It was approved! This cleared the way for us to now work with the mortgage servicer and keep our home. Mortgage and Foreclosure Defense: We had a situation where we originally had a first and second mortgage. The bank, WAMU, sold its holdings to Chase. Chase had two separate divisions, one that handled the first and another that handled the second. Neither communicated with each other. Although we tried to accept Chase’s first mortgage offer, they could not confirm that this would satisfy the second (note above situation). As time went on, when we did try to accept the offer, it was too late and they made the determination that we had declined, although they wouldn’t accept our counter offer of our acceptance it they included the second as part of the satisfaction. Also, we had paid a few months while going this process (another mistake). At that point, Chase sold our loan to BSI, a mortgage servicer (no matter how they spin it, they are an unscrupulous debt collector!). They made numerous offers that we tried to accept and then they would say that their management would not approve! As well, they got nasty. My wife checked them out online only to find that their reputation was horrible. My wife then went looking for another attorney and found Christie. What a blessing! She helped us get our second mortgage obligation discharged (as mentioned above) and helped us understand our options in order to keep our home. She provided us with a clear understanding of how the process works, with examples, and helped us map out a plan. In addition, Christie helped us as we worked through the short payoff. She negotiated with BSI when things got sticky and was available to speak on the phone or in person when we needed to resolve issues or review status. Oh, and she NEVER brought up money after our initial agreement! And, she didn’t gouge us or have additional “hidden” fees. Christie has a great deal of integrity, is very compassionate, intelligent and takes a personal interest. Without Christie’s professionalism and understanding of how the “system” works, we probably would have lost our home or been in huge debt with the mortgage servicer. We cannot express our appreciation enough. We highly recommend Christie and her firm if you need bankruptcy, mortgage or foreclosure defense. Thanks Christie!

Home Modification

I would highly recommend Christie Arkovich for anyone needing a re-finance or is in a home foreclosure. My results were outstanding with a mod of 2% interest rate and also a large amount of arrearages forgiven by the lender. She has a team behind her that keeps in contact throughout the process, but... if you need to communicate with her directly, she will follow up via e mail or phone call.
