James S. Trieschmann is an attorney at Veteran Legal, LLC where he currently focuses his practice on representing service members before the Veteran Administration and the Board of Veterans Appeals (BVA). James served eight years active duty in the United States Army Judge Advocate General Corps followed by six years in the Army Reserves. James began his private practice in Washington D.C. in 2014 where he has represented numerous service-members before the all the military service appellate courts, the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the BVA, and the CAVC. Before entering private practice, James served eight years of active duty as an Army Judge Advocate. James spent the majority of these years representing Soldiers as an appellate attorney where he executed the full range of appellate litigation from research and writing of appellate briefs to oral arguments. He managed the most difficult cases in the military and represented over 200 Soldiers. Prior to his time as an appellate defense attorney, James served as a prosecutor and managing prosecutor for Army Central Command. He was responsible for the administration of military justice for Army Central Command operations in Atlanta, GA and throughout Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Egypt, and Qatar. While in this position, James participated in 300 successful criminal prosecutions, including hihg profile felony cases. James also served as a torts claims attorney during his initial time as a judge advocate, where he investigated, adjudicated, and resolved claims filed under the Federal Tort Claims Act.

Left in the dark
I have tried getting James to contact me for my appeals. as of 02/14/2023. I Have four issues that I will lose on 04/01/2023 if it is not appealed. This is a lot of money that my family can not afford. I was told today that he is very busy!!!!. Very unhappy customer.
