As per agreement, the legal end of this battle with the VA, being handled by this Law Team came through, as I wasn't able to accomplish on my own, with multiple attempts; The VA is very difficult to deal with on your own & as I ended up, being denied constantly, with actual real claims, in closing, ...this Law firm was able to move the Goal post to my favor, but that battle is not finished, my injuries have caused me several jobs and un told amount of financial losses and advancements, not mentioning mental duress, etc. As a former Private Investigator, my experience, in collecting evidence, is methodic to put a case together, the VA, will place you on a merry-go-round sending Veterans to un-qualified could care less medical technicians, as I experienced this passed evaluation; It takes a skilled team, to be on the ball, my only suggestion, would be for all Vets to keep god records, and like I am doing in my case due to my age and years of dealing with the VA, is to go to a private doctor first, get an outside opinion, to assist this legal team in their battle with the VA. Gr8 Job!!!

VA Compensation

After fight my VA compensation case without getting any positive results, I was referred to James Shipp Trieschmann Jr. This firm had excellent communication with me and kept me well informed on the progress of my case. After several failed attempts to have the VA adjudicate my case I had all but gi...ven up hope. James Shipp Trieschmann Jr. and his staff assured me they would be able to help me. They appealed my case and within the time line ,they had originally advised me , my case was reviewed again and I was granted a favorable decision. James Shipp Trieschmann Jr. and his staff are first class and I would highly recommend everyone with VA denials who would like to appeal the negative VA decision use this Firm. I can’t thank them enough for all their help and alleviating the stresses associated with the VA appeal process. Again I would like to thank James Shipp Trieschmann Jr. and every member of his staff for their help.

Overburdened or lack of communication

I was directed here by vetcomp&pen later trajector (avoid). They have filed an appeal on one claim but that took about a year to click button to appeal, no input or communications with me about process. They also filed a hlr for a claim without any additional evidence or consulting me on this. I ...was contacted by firm requesting money on a claim I filed myself. When I called they said that was an error and computer generated. They did win a tinnitus case which I gladly and promptly paid them. When I talked to a representative of the company and asked about the case I was awarded and if it should go back 2019 he said he would file a cue. 2 weeks later I spoke to another representative who looked at my file and said there were mistakes and he would be filing a cue by the end of the week. That was 2 weeks ago and nothing filed and will not return phone calls even though I was assured they would be getting back to me in a day, twice I called and no response except I let him know and he will call you by tomorrow. Maybe I expect too much but a phone call seems reasonable. Contract states They will advise on direction and work in a timely manner. I have not been advised of any way to proceed with any further claims or have They kept me informed. Not only am I do the legwork to get the VA to do the right thing, I also have to spend time dealing with Veteran Legal llc to get what should be basic task

Service I’ve Received

Not sure was done for my case as I don’t remove having any contact during the process. What I am sure of is when I was approved for service-connection by the VA, I was contacted for payment. I overpaid this firm and notified them of the overpayment. I have notified them of this overpayment several... times and almost 5 months later I’m still waiting for them to send me the money back.

We were able to obtain a HUGE win for you. Like all VA law firms, our fees are solely based on the amount that we can help you recover in backpay from the VA. When the VA makes a mistake in calculations, it affects your compensation and our fees. We were disappointed in the delay as well, but we made sure to refund any overpayment to you. It's unfortunate that you would leave such a poor review considering how much money we recovered for you.

  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
