Won my case

The brief they prepared for my higher level review was complete and well done. They need to work on communication. Not once did they reach out to me, in a year, with updates and purposely waited to the last moment to file my appeal in order to increase amount they would receive. I had to notify th...em that the case was settled and have called three times to try to pay them. Customer Service needs work, but they know what they are doing.

Overburdened or lack of communication

I was directed here by vetcomp&pen later trajector (avoid). They have filed an appeal on one claim but that took about a year to click button to appeal, no input or communications with me about process. They also filed a hlr for a claim without any additional evidence or consulting me on this. I ...was contacted by firm requesting money on a claim I filed myself. When I called they said that was an error and computer generated. They did win a tinnitus case which I gladly and promptly paid them. When I talked to a representative of the company and asked about the case I was awarded and if it should go back 2019 he said he would file a cue. 2 weeks later I spoke to another representative who looked at my file and said there were mistakes and he would be filing a cue by the end of the week. That was 2 weeks ago and nothing filed and will not return phone calls even though I was assured they would be getting back to me in a day, twice I called and no response except I let him know and he will call you by tomorrow. Maybe I expect too much but a phone call seems reasonable. Contract states They will advise on direction and work in a timely manner. I have not been advised of any way to proceed with any further claims or have They kept me informed. Not only am I do the legwork to get the VA to do the right thing, I also have to spend time dealing with Veteran Legal llc to get what should be basic task

Poor communication then dropped without any explanation or warning

I contacted Mr. Trieschmann's office at the recommendation of another attorney. The office member who talked to me was barely understandable over all of the background noise at her end, but I signed the required paperwork. Weeks later I got a short letter saying they were no longer representing me ...with no explanation as to why they can't help me or recommendations on how I can move forward, or with who. Very frustrating.

Communication lol

I always had to reach out and never got a straight answer. Apparently after over 48 months someone notice I had no claim like I had been asking about for 48 months. Always was the VA problem in being slow or system not updated or I can see what the practice can see. Anyways, from what I can tell a V...A Claim was setup September 2022 and approved in October 2022. Grateful for that much, but passed about 48 months loss for back pay. So, veterans beware in my book. Ken Mabry

Mr. Mabry, Thank you for using your name to allow us to follow up with you. As we've now discussed, the issues with the VA recognizing our power of attorney on your case caused very unfortunate implications. We are already underway with another appeal to try to recover the lost backpay. We hope they give us the opportunity to rectify this for you.

The most arrogant lawyer that I have ever spoken to.

I sent an email to Mr. Trieschmann regarding a MEB appeal. He told me that he could assist me and to call him to discuss. I called him and explained the MEB issue that I was having. He started to talk about a VA claim and that he would send me to some Doctors, etc. He mentioned that he could charge a... few thousand dollars to handle a VA claim. I found that to be unethical because most VA attorneys charge a small fee ONLY if the veteran wins the an appeal. I haven't heard of an attorney that charges a few thousand dollars, especially for an initial VA claim that most soldiers file on base for free. An attorney is not supposed to charge a veteran for the initial VA claim. I explained that my case was for a MEB appeal and that I was going to work my VA claim with the VA rep on base (like most soldiers do). He immediately became very rude and defensive saying that I did not know sh** about what I was talking about. I was surprised by his reaction and I explained to him that I only needed assistance with a MEB appeal, not any VA disability claims. He stated that if I already had my VA claim ready, than why was I calling him now. That does not even make any sense. He was confusing a VA claim with a MEB appeal. This attorney is very rude and gets defensive when a potential client keeps trying to explain their issue because he seems to not understand/know what the issue is. Avoid this lawyer!

This guy has never been a client. I have never charged a client to do an initial VA claim.
