Service I’ve Received

Not sure was done for my case as I don’t remove having any contact during the process. What I am sure of is when I was approved for service-connection by the VA, I was contacted for payment. I overpaid this firm and notified them of the overpayment. I have notified them of this overpayment several... times and almost 5 months later I’m still waiting for them to send me the money back.

We were able to obtain a HUGE win for you. Like all VA law firms, our fees are solely based on the amount that we can help you recover in backpay from the VA. When the VA makes a mistake in calculations, it affects your compensation and our fees. We were disappointed in the delay as well, but we made sure to refund any overpayment to you. It's unfortunate that you would leave such a poor review considering how much money we recovered for you.

Awesome team

This year has been a challenging year for me. I could no longer work and barely able to walk in January and began the arduous research assignment of asking the VA for help (again). I gathered signed lay statements from coworkers, requested 10 years worth of medical records from three different VA fa...cilities (3 different states), private medical records....I dotted the i's and crossed all the t's tracked down former employrers and got signatures on VA forms...etc. etc. Three months later I filed , feeling like an accomplished lawyer already and part-time private detective. Now it is September and I finally got my decision letter. Does not make any sense what-so-ever. VES practicioner made some errors during my 1st disability exam, called me back in a couple weeks later, admitting wrong test/measurements were taken by mistake (?!?!?!). James and his team are courteous, professional, and they listen. Not to mention, punctual. After suffering through physical therapy and injections, and now riding a shopping buggy and caning and crutching around all summer....I finally broke down and went online for a VA service-connected disability lawyer. I put my request in some sort of app that sent out a beacon to about 10 attorneys' offices that practice VA Disability Claims. I am not even kidding, about 2 minutes later Mr. Trieshmann's intake specialist, Bill, was on the phone with me listening to me struggle as I searched for a good starting point to explain why I thought I needed help. Thanks again Bill, for calming me down, and explaining how things work. This alone is worth a five star rating. I am really disturbed at the VA's latest rating decision on my claim. Knowing I got these guys helpming me out really helps me sleep better at night.

Communication lol

I always had to reach out and never got a straight answer. Apparently after over 48 months someone notice I had no claim like I had been asking about for 48 months. Always was the VA problem in being slow or system not updated or I can see what the practice can see. Anyways, from what I can tell a V...A Claim was setup September 2022 and approved in October 2022. Grateful for that much, but passed about 48 months loss for back pay. So, veterans beware in my book. Ken Mabry

Mr. Mabry, Thank you for using your name to allow us to follow up with you. As we've now discussed, the issues with the VA recognizing our power of attorney on your case caused very unfortunate implications. We are already underway with another appeal to try to recover the lost backpay. We hope they give us the opportunity to rectify this for you.

Overburdened or lack of communication

I was directed here by vetcomp&pen later trajector (avoid). They have filed an appeal on one claim but that took about a year to click button to appeal, no input or communications with me about process. They also filed a hlr for a claim without any additional evidence or consulting me on this. I ...was contacted by firm requesting money on a claim I filed myself. When I called they said that was an error and computer generated. They did win a tinnitus case which I gladly and promptly paid them. When I talked to a representative of the company and asked about the case I was awarded and if it should go back 2019 he said he would file a cue. 2 weeks later I spoke to another representative who looked at my file and said there were mistakes and he would be filing a cue by the end of the week. That was 2 weeks ago and nothing filed and will not return phone calls even though I was assured they would be getting back to me in a day, twice I called and no response except I let him know and he will call you by tomorrow. Maybe I expect too much but a phone call seems reasonable. Contract states They will advise on direction and work in a timely manner. I have not been advised of any way to proceed with any further claims or have They kept me informed. Not only am I do the legwork to get the VA to do the right thing, I also have to spend time dealing with Veteran Legal llc to get what should be basic task
