Should not be allowed to represent veterans

To start with I don't even remember hiring him. He claims I hired him 6 years ago but he did nothing for me. I took it upon myself to file the proper paperwork and to submit my claim for hire level review and then when I finally get my claim this guy comes out of no where and says that I owe him. The... VA took money out of my claim to pay him, but he said he sent that money back, even though we never received it now he says we owe 33% of our claim. I have asked for the fee statement that he says I signed but he hasn't responded with it. Now he is threatening to charge interest and send me to collections. This guy should not be allowed to represent veterans nor claim to help them. He is a fraud and I hope this saves any other veteran's for making the mistake of doing business with him.

Stay far away!

I took on this company as a recommendation from Vet Comp and Pen. I didn’t even talk to anyone from Mr. Trieschmann’s office. Everything was done through email. I also gave them access to my eBenefits account to get the process started. I went the VSO route first and it resulted in a 10% ...rating for PTSD. I didn’t agree with this result and wanted to appeal. Trieschmann’s office didn’t do this, they started a duplicate intent to file instead. So then they had me fill out the claim form and write something basic in there and send it back. I got busy and forgot about the claim when I got a decision letter that my appeal was denied and then I was unservice connected for chronic fatigue syndrome and high blood pressure. I tried to get a hold of Mr Trieschmann but no one would ever answer. It’s like you don’t exist. So I decided to do my claim myself. I chose a higher level reviewer for my PTSD claim and filled out the necessary paperwork. If you go this route, choose to talk to the reviewer. It will definitely help. A few months after speaking to the higher level reviewer, I got a notice in the mail that I was bumped up to 30% for PTSD. Then I started getting letters from Mr. Trieschmann saying congratulations on your increase, you owe us X. I was pretty shocked to say the least since they didn’t do anything. I called and left a voicemail saying that they didn’t help me and they actually hurt me with my claims. Then they started blowing up my phone. It’s funny how they call back when they think you owe them money. Stay away from this fly by night lawyer. You can do your claims by yourself. The most important thing is to build a nexus for your disability. If you don’t have any type of medical nexus, you will be turned down. Best way to do this is through the VA medical facilities. I know people will cringe at the thought but it will be easier for the VA to pull your records. Good luck Patriots!

Thank you for reaching out. I apologize for the miscommunication but I think you have me confused with someone else. Since I don't have your full name I can't look into your case but you stated a few things that make me believe you have me confused with another company. 1. I have never accessed or requested access to my clients' ebenefits file. I am a VA-accredited attorney and I have access to my client's file in the VA system. I have never asked my clients for the Ebenefits access. I think you were communicating with someone else 2. I have never asked my client to fill out a new claim form instead of submitting an appeal. In fact, I don't even get involved with filing new claims so I would never ask a client to submit a new claim instead of appealing a claim. Again, I believe you have me confused with someone else. 3. If you did a high-level review hearing the VA will almost always notify me not. I did not receive notice anytime recently for a high-level review hearing for an increase for PTSD. Again, all these facts make me believe you have me confused. Please message me directly on this website and I will look into your case directly. Of course, I will waive any fees for work I did not complete. I served 16 years in the army, I personally speak with my clients when requested, and the comments from this review lead me to believe you have me confused with someone else. I am happy to help and look into it. V/R James Trieschmann

Purposely delay claims

This company is not good at staying in contact with you (Veteran Claims). They purposely delay the claim process so you have to pay them more for their fee.

I'm sorry that you were not happy with your experience. We would never purposely delay a claim and our fee structure remains the same no matter how long a case may take. We will work harder to maintain our high standard for communication.

The most arrogant lawyer that I have ever spoken to.

I sent an email to Mr. Trieschmann regarding a MEB appeal. He told me that he could assist me and to call him to discuss. I called him and explained the MEB issue that I was having. He started to talk about a VA claim and that he would send me to some Doctors, etc. He mentioned that he could charge a... few thousand dollars to handle a VA claim. I found that to be unethical because most VA attorneys charge a small fee ONLY if the veteran wins the an appeal. I haven't heard of an attorney that charges a few thousand dollars, especially for an initial VA claim that most soldiers file on base for free. An attorney is not supposed to charge a veteran for the initial VA claim. I explained that my case was for a MEB appeal and that I was going to work my VA claim with the VA rep on base (like most soldiers do). He immediately became very rude and defensive saying that I did not know sh** about what I was talking about. I was surprised by his reaction and I explained to him that I only needed assistance with a MEB appeal, not any VA disability claims. He stated that if I already had my VA claim ready, than why was I calling him now. That does not even make any sense. He was confusing a VA claim with a MEB appeal. This attorney is very rude and gets defensive when a potential client keeps trying to explain their issue because he seems to not understand/know what the issue is. Avoid this lawyer!

This guy has never been a client. I have never charged a client to do an initial VA claim.
