Diane Ilene Zuckerman

Diane Zuckerman was referred to my by a lawyer friend who gave her his highest recommendation. I engaged Diane to help me with my mother's estate, will, HCPOA, etc. a number of years ago. Even though I live in Ohio and Diane is based in Tampa, near my mother, the distance factor never effected our ...relationship, her responsiveness, the quality of her work product, or our ability to work together. I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with Diane. I will be moving my mother to a Memory Care facility soon and have had many questions about the road I have ahead. After the abrupt passing of my Husband, our family found ourselves in a very strange and foreign situation. Since my husband's death was unexpected and quick we had no wills nor did we prepare one because we weren't expecting him to pass so suddenly. Despite the shock, we started to gather documents ...and examine our financial situation. We hoped to quickly sell our home, however, we could not because our family home was only in his name. We were told that we needed to go through "probate" a term completely foreign to us. We heard disparaging stories of probate courts taking months to complete. So we began our search of lawyers. Based on Ms. Zuckerman, Diane's, reviews as well as lawyers in the area we chose to vet her and a few other lawyers. Most of the prices were relatively around the same price to take on our probate case. However, the choice between Diane and the others was easy just because of a few essential points. For one she took the time to not only discuss a clear cut strategy to make sure the probate process would go quickly but she also took the time to discuss other issues such as debt, car titles etc, that our extremely relative when someone passes. NOT ONE other lawyer took the time to ensure that I didn't make any critical errors that could put even more financial burden on me. Things which are not common knowledge to non-laywers, and we discussed them at the free consultation with no guarantee of me choosing her as my lawyer. Every other lawyer discussed the flat fee for the probate case and that was it. I felt like at my worst time of my life I had a close family member assist me with the handling of issues that honestly needed to be addressed immediately but If I could I'd ignore until I had properly mourned. I can't say enough good things about Diane our probate process took much less time than I expected and ended up in my favor. Also one really simple thing that made me finalize the decision to choose Diane to handle my case. Was something else she was the only one that took the time to say I'm sorry for your loss, I knew it was from a good place and that she would put her all to fight for me on my behalf. Choose a lawyer that not only has expertise in this field but also takes the time to evaluate your situation as a whole and not just the one issue that you bring to her.

We needed help setting up a guardianship for my mother. Diane did a very professional job guiding us through the process. She was also very helpful and responsive assisting us with questions from the court regarding our annual reporting.
