Jennifer Ruth Beltz is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and the Middle District of Florida. She has jury trial experience, having tried automobile accident claims, medical malpractice claims, nursing home abuse claims and premises liability claims.
Jennifer has also handled arbitrations in Florida and Wisconsin, and argued appellate cases at the Second District Court of Appeals in Tampa. In recognition of successful resolution of personal injury claims during her career, Jennifer is a lifetime member of the
Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
Raised in St. Petersburg, Florida from a young age, Jennifer Ruth Beltz is a trial attorney with over 20 years of litigation experience focused in the area of personal injury. Jennifer worked for Beltz & Ruth for 14 years prior to working with some other law firms and ultimately opening her own firm – only to be joined a few years later by her father. The firm focuses on advising and representing those who have been injured by others. She has successfully represented individuals in automobile accidents, nursing home neglect cases, medical malpractice claims, slip and fall claims, premises liability claims, and more.
A second-generation injury lawyer, Jennifer Ruth Beltz is proud to have followed in the footsteps of her father, Larry D. Beltz, a renowned personal injury attorney here in the Tampa Bay area, who attended high school in St. Petersburg.
Jennifer received her undergraduate degree in 1993 from Emory University and her law degree in 1996 from Florida State University College of Law. While in law school, Jennifer served as secretary of the Student Bar Association and president of the Mock Trial team, participating in state and regional competitions. Jennifer is proud to call St. Petersburg home.
