About Daniel
Biography
After years defending insurance companies, Mr. Oppenheimer decided that he would rather fight for the rights of the injured, than protect "Big Business". Daniel draws on his "behind the scenes" experiences, and knowledge of insurance company tactics, to ensure that his clients get the best and most aggressive representation available. He knows all the tricks and games insurance companies play, and is prepared to combat each and every one of them.
He is admitted to the Florida Bar, and the United States District Court for the Southern District Court of Florida.
Mr. Oppenheimer was born and raised in Miami Beach, Florida. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Yeshiva University in New York City with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. While in college, Mr. Oppenheimer worked for a publicly traded communications company, where he helped design wireless data solutions for clients like Sony, RIMM, and Microsoft.
After college, Mr. Oppenheimer first decided to pursue a career on Wall Street and became a member of the National Association of Securities Dealers (n/k/a FINRA, Series 7, 55, 63). After a number of years working for one of the largest, privately owned equity trading firms, he decided to return to academics and enrolled in the University of Miami School of Law.
While attending law school, Mr. Oppenheimer honed his litigation skills by working for the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office in the Economic and Cyber Crime Divisions while simultaneously working at a Plaintiff's firm. During law school, he was elected to the post of Executive Vice President of the UM Cardozo Legal Society and accepted an invitation to join the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Fraternity. Mr. Oppenheimer resides in Miami Beach, Florida and in his free time he enjoys watching sports, studying philosophy, and spending time with his wife and children.
