Ms. Lewert just finalized my extremely contentious divorce. It was a long process because my ex and I had various issues which we simply could not agree, but Tina Lewert never steered me wrong. I found Ms Lewert after my husband and I had been taken over the coals by not one, not two, but three attorneys, all of whom were unscrupulous, milking us for money ( we subsequently lost our home recently due to the need to take the equity out and went into tremendous debt ). My husbands ex wife, th...e mother of his son, was using the system to break us, hiding her vast assets, harassing us despite my bout with breast cancer at the time. Ms Lewert worked with us, was fair, showed up to every court date in time or early, gave us her attention and did what she could to help us get past this nightmare that dragged on literally for years. Every other attorney lied to us, and we found out later that each of them should have been disbarred for their lack of professional conduct and have been given the lowest rating by Avvo, and then they told us this was not a case for mediation or ignored our pleas to get to mediation. Tina Lewert told us that mediation wasn't optional, no one would hear this case until it had gone to mediation and and attempt made to resolve it. They all knew that, but they played us for idiots. Tina had compassion for our situation and did what she could to keep the bills from getting out of control. We went to mediation and resolved the issue and showed us that there was someone out there who is not without compassion and would not let the case or the costs reel out of control.
