Tina Leah Lewert

Tina is a wonderful attorney. She guided me through my ugly case and ultimately her wisdom lead me to successful settlement of my case. She wasn’t afraid to advise me of the pros AND cons of my case, and the legal system which can be brutal, and I always felt like she was being straight with me, inst...ead of just telling me what I wanted to hear like another attorney I spoke with. Tina is quick on her feet and I could also tell that she is respected by judges and other attorneys (by the way everyone treated her when we did have to go to court to finalize the divorce once settled). Tina Lewert is an attorney that I trust. Her professionalism and knowledge in her field of law was thorough. This is the second time I used her services. She is certainly not intimated by opposing attorneys or their client. I have the upmost respect for her and in tough situations she shows her outst...anding abilities to handle anything that comes her way. She showed she truly cares about me as a person and client, which can be hard to find. Tina listens and answers questions. I know she loves her profession and is driven to make sure that the end results were in my best interest. Tina also surrounds herself with a staff that's reliable to answer questions or return a call or email efficiently. I enjoyed working with Tina and would highly recommend her.

I hired Tina after interviewing 4 other lawyers. That sounds like a lot, but the other lawyers I spoke to either seemed like they were trying very hard to "sell" me, or they didn't give me much info about the law that applied to my case. I instantly clicked with Tina because she gave me real advice..., and explained to me the divorce laws and how all of it would fit into my particular case. Tina always talked to me about the realistic pros and cons of my divorce case, which I really appreciated. Other lawyers I spoke with did not do this. In fact, they seemed to be making too many promises. Tina was always honest with me, and her ability to give me all the good AND bad news if there was any was what ultimately steered me in the right direction and lead to settlement of my case. I really believe I got the best possible outcome I could have gotten, and my children are better off because we resolved our case without going to trial. I also want to say that Tina was always available when I needed her. She's obvioulsly a busy trial lawyer but she would go out of her way to call me back on a Saturday or after hours, and she even took an emergency call while she was travelling (on vacation I believe). I dealt with a lawyer in another matter (not family law) who never responded to any of my calls or emails. Tina was always willing to answer my questions and explain the law to me, and that was really helpful to me to know what was going on in the case and why these things were happening. I have been through litigation before in other business-related matters, and I kjnow it's extremely costly. I've had friends who went through divorces and paid their attorneys $150,000 in fees or more, some of them taking out loans or second mortgages to be able to come up with the money. Tina's hourly rate was less than the other attorneys I spoke with even though they did not have even half of her qualifications, and her fees were a lot less than my ex-wife's fees for the entire divorce case. It's not cheap to go through this, but with Tina I felt like I got an exceptional value for her integrity, honest dealings, realistic advice, and her experience. She is really top notch in all ways. If you have to go through this, Tina is the person to hire.

Billable, billable, billable. Never returns phone calls. I never knew the status of my case. Drug the case out for months with no resolve. I fired her and hired another attorney who had this resolved in a month. Very unprofessional office. I would never recommend this office to anyone. I was m...ore stressed from this office than I was from the case.
