Just don’t do it!

Total waste of time and money. Paid him upfront and that’s where things ended. Didn’t listen, never responds to emails and doesn’t care to do his job. Fought for nothing in court and ran out after it was over as if he had better places to be. I can’t say it enough but just find someone else. Spend th...e money on Someone who likes their job and actually wants to help you. Cheap is great but not in a divorce situation. Just don’t do it!!!!

Hire someone else!

Run! He will lure you in and then lies & backstabs you. Save yourself long term stress by hiring someone else. Worse mistake I ever made was hiring this lawyer. Sad but true.

Worst Experience during the worst time of my life

I hired Mr. Cripps because the stress and anxiety from my divorce had taken a toll on me when suddenly my ex just stopped paying all support ordered to care for our children. I needed someone to take over and fight for me, not against me. Unfortunately in dealing with him, I didn't get what I needed.... Instead, I felt that being a divorce lawyer made him dislike women, or if not women, it made him bitter in general. Mr. Cripps would just talk over me, cut me off, wouldn't listen and just constantly interrupted me. I found this so frustrating, and increasingly infuriating as time went on dealing with him, but I had given him the agreed upon fee, which was a lesser amount than most lawyers were requesting. He made a horrible situation worse. He dropped the ball a few times, for example he was filling out papers in the court room that should have already been filled out before. I finally told him off, not once, but twice for constantly talking over me and being so condescending, but also for an insensitive, rude and incorrect summation of the relationship I was in at the time. As if he was privy to the subject, nor was it any of his business. Very insensitive and inappropriate. Again, my need for an attorney was due to my ex refusing to pay his court ordered child support and alimony while I was trying to rebuild my life and career. Such a stressful time and he added to the stress. He showed no empathy. In addition, I lost. My support went way down. I was now in major cc debt because that's all I had to pay for food, mortgage, car, and all other living expenses, with no relief coming now to cover the cc debt I had accrued over the almost 2 years my ex didn't pay, and Mr. Cripps disappeared. Never to be heard from again after leaving a voicemail telling me we'd go after other savings that was hidden away somewhere. Someone else wrote it well above, he gave me a cut rate, so I got cut rate service.

A warrior for you !!

Where to start?? I went thru a 2 year divorce, and Mr Cripps was with me every step of the way. Her lawyer tried to screw me every step of the way, and Mr Cripple blocked them every time, they had ZERO wins! He may not tell you what you want to hear, but he will ALWAYS tell you what's in your best i...nterest. This is a very emotional time, and your not always thinking straight, but he ALWAYS is !! I dont think you could find better representation!!

Unexampled hero..

Lean in statement; I went through a divorce that lawyer fees on both sides were high six figures. I met Mr. Cripps by calling an employee assistance program for Palm Beach County Schools ( I’m a teacher). After the divorce and all of my financial resources were exhausted, I was perpetually taken back... to court for child related motions to the tune of 2-3 times a month ( harassment). I represented myself for about a year ( my advice is don’t waste your time, it’s a loosing battle as pro se). I was accustomed to being billed for any and all communications to my lawyers office, and the fees never stopped! Well not Steve ( Mr. Cripps)! Mr. Cripps gave me a flat rate that was less than the retainer my initial lawyer required. I’m hear to tell you, that not only will your money go further with Steve, but his knowledge of the Law, his ability to deliver what’s required in the courtroom/ Depositions/ or lawyer to layer communications, along with his no nonsense mental processing earn him this review titled Unexampled hero, as that’s who he is to me. It’s worth mentioning, that Steve has been practicing so long that opposing council knew him and every other gardian adlitem or parenting coordinator ( who were all attorneys and were brought in to the case erroneously). I suspect that the relationships ( connections ) Steve has helped me in my situation to have Steve explain the truth to these professionals. I was for months dodging these professionals while pro se to avoid their $500hr fees, and immediately after they spoke with Steve they no longer needed to see me. The point is, weather you’re in need of a lawyer or another lawyer, in my opinion, Mr. Cripps, is that person. Best of Luck, Stephen
