I think I speak for the majority of us when I say that divorce is a tumultuous, extremely emotional and painful process! Especially if there are children and assets involved. You’re heartbroken and angry...so during this process, its hard to trust anyone and it can be easy to redirect your anger an...d impatience on the wrong person or event. Which I believe may explain most of the negative comments on here directed at Mr. Cripps. Does he sometimes take a day to return your call? Yes. Is he a man of few words? Yes. Can that be frustrating? Of course. But does he get the job done? You can bet your hard earned money on it! My husband left me on Valentines day, on Valentines Day!! I was an emotional mess, left with the mortgage and a slew of bills to pay. Not only did Mr. Cripps offer a flat rate fee but also an affordable payment plan. I retained Mr. Cripps towards the end of March and was divorced the 1st week of June! The day of my hearing I was nervous and concerned because he was running late (he was in another court room). The judge asked me who was my attorney and I tell her, she responds: “oh don't worry, I know he's around here somewhere, he'll be here”. He has such an awesome rapport with the judges that they don't even mind waiting for him! Mr. Cripps possesses almost 40 years of experience. He knows what he's doing and does it at a reasonable price. If you want a young lawyer that's going to kiss your butt and charge you twice as much, then go for it. But if you want a guy with an established good rapport and who will get the job done, then trust Mr. Cripps is that attorney. Good luck and all the best!! P.S. I obtained Steven Cripps and had to continually follow up with the office to receive any information regarding my issue. Within a month's time, he did not fulfill his promise to have an agreement proposal completed. He has given specific days as to when it would be ready, and when the time came, he f...ailed to communicate. When I reached out to the office, they could not even tell me whether or not the process had been initiated.

I work overseas and needed legal representation to take me through the steps to dissolve my marriage. Given the difference in time zones, I expected difficult interactions. Mr. Cripps and staff were readily available and kept me updated through email and phone communications. He made a difficult pr...ocess seem painless! I surely will recommend him to others.

I was lucky enough to get referred to Steve by one of his former clients and he went above and beyond to help me during my difficult divorce process. He opened my eyes to the harsh reality that my husband was trying to steer the divorce in his favor and just use his own lawyer, and Steve showed me w...hat I needed to do to stand up for myself and make sure the settlement was fair. He knew it was very emotional for me and was very patient and attentive to me when I needed it (which was a lot). Anytime I texted him that I had a question or an issue, he would either call back immediately or within that same day if he was in court (even with his insanely busy schedule). He never once ignored me or seemed annoyed in any way. He is also extremely honest and straightforward. There is a lot of gray in the divorce process and even when I wanted a black and white answer as to what would happen, he would take his time to explain to me why that just was not possible and I appreciated him for that every time, because it is what I needed. Even after the divorce was final, another couple issues came up that I needed his advice on and he called me back immediately each time after I texted him and helped me. I have referred him to my friends and will continue to refer him to anyone that needs his type of services. I was truly blessed to find him and know I would not have gotten through my whole divorce process without him. His entire staff is amazing as well - every time I would call the office they were more than willing to help and always knew exactly who I was and were so kind. Them knowing you by name, might not be a big deal to everyone, but it meant a great deal to me and just showed how caring they all are.
