Cripps intentionally didn’t meet the state standards. Thus knowing the results before hand and lost my case filing . Im still waiting for a return call to address issues not resolved. I have called him repeatedly. Find someone who cares about your well being your children’s well being I dont even think he ever even asked me my kids names.

I had been using Mr. Cripps from the time my son was 2 for my initial divorce and child support and his fathers indiscretions until he was 13. Never once did he promise me ANYTHING! There were times I felt so frustrated and wondered what the hell he was doing? Why wasn’t he ordering drug tests? Why w...asn’t he fighting harder? All the while what I didn’t know was that Mr. Cripps knew the system inside and out and knew it would not fly. Not to mention the integrity and trust he has built with the courts is stellar! They know he’s not there to just throw anything at the wall to see if it sticks. The many many times we were in court we won, EVERY TIME! And when my sons father would show with a high payed attorney that his mom payed for they would try and bs, along with my ex, and lost! The one thing I truly regret was listening to a friend who convinced me to use another attorney at a very crucial point in time, that he had used and I ended up paying probably about 6 times what I would have paid with Cripps and I know he still would have done better than she did. I still won but even she didn’t think she did. There is no doubt in my mind he would have too! And better! Mr. Cripps would always talk me down. I was very emotional, scared, lost, angry, all the things! And he was so patient with me. I will never forget the one thing I always remember and carry with me that he told me, “he will hang himself” he said to me. At the time that frustrated me but when I look back I can tell he knew the type. He simply has seen it all. Mr. Cripps has a secret guys. He reads people. He knows what he is doing without having to charge people what these other thieving lawyers do! All with integrity, honesty, trust, and just no bs! So if you are looking to spend a lot of money on a “tiger” go right ahead! But my money would be on Mr. Cripps every time! He truly is a Godsend!

Mr Cripps went beyond his scope of getting the best deal possible- even when it came to the emotional strain of a family that felt the collateral damage of a divorce. His knowledge and experience was a comforting throughout the entire process. If I had to do this again , I would not hestitate to ...call him first. Not only he’s a great at being a lawyer, he was also considered an understanding friend. I highly recommend him.

I was lucky enough to get referred to Steve by one of his former clients and he went above and beyond to help me during my difficult divorce process. He opened my eyes to the harsh reality that my husband was trying to steer the divorce in his favor and just use his own lawyer, and Steve showed me w...hat I needed to do to stand up for myself and make sure the settlement was fair. He knew it was very emotional for me and was very patient and attentive to me when I needed it (which was a lot). Anytime I texted him that I had a question or an issue, he would either call back immediately or within that same day if he was in court (even with his insanely busy schedule). He never once ignored me or seemed annoyed in any way. He is also extremely honest and straightforward. There is a lot of gray in the divorce process and even when I wanted a black and white answer as to what would happen, he would take his time to explain to me why that just was not possible and I appreciated him for that every time, because it is what I needed. Even after the divorce was final, another couple issues came up that I needed his advice on and he called me back immediately each time after I texted him and helped me. I have referred him to my friends and will continue to refer him to anyone that needs his type of services. I was truly blessed to find him and know I would not have gotten through my whole divorce process without him. His entire staff is amazing as well - every time I would call the office they were more than willing to help and always knew exactly who I was and were so kind. Them knowing you by name, might not be a big deal to everyone, but it meant a great deal to me and just showed how caring they all are.
