Part 2!

I retained Scott in 2014 for a dispute I had with a former employer in the marine industry. The case was resolved the following year with a 5-figure settlement in my favor. Unfortunately, that wasn't entirely the end of the story. My former employer's manager was hired by the company I worked for in ...2019 and, unsurprisingly, I immediately began to have issues despite being considered an excellent employee for 16 months, having fantastic performance reviews from my then-managers and earning 2 raises. The company also used my likeness on presentations to, and personal influence with, the Fort Lauderdale City Commission. I contacted Mr. Behren and asked if there was an inherent conflict of interest in having a manager from a company I sued in a management position over me and if I could file a complaint if there was. He explained there is a possibility that there was and that we should first warn the company I was presently working for of the conflict. He wrote a letter to that end on my behalf. The company then took the manager's side and fired me within days of the letter being sent. Needless to say, we sued. As soon as the papers were served to the defendants their counsel contacted Scott and asked for a settlement demand! After some haggling another 5-figure settlement came my way. They didn't even attempt to defend themselves....which tells me they knew the absurdity of their allegations. In the days leading up to my termination my stress level was extreme and, consequently, my treatment of my family was very poor. The anguish that company caused me due to their obscene and obviously false allegations was almost unforgivable. I now have a handsome settlement and they're all unemployed; not because of the ongoing pandemic, but because they are so hideously mismanaged. Bottom line: if someone's messing with you at work, hire Scott. His retainer is affordable and his other fees make it all worthwhile.

Thorough

Mr. Behren represented me in my wrongful termination case against Marion County Public Schools, he was very thorough in navigating the intricacies of my case resulting in an above average monetary settlement on my behalf.

Scott Behren

Having to deal with the aftermath of being fired and believing that is was wrongful made me feel powerless and not knowing what to do. After speaking to a couple other lawyers I was blessed to have found Mr. Scott Behren, he made me sure about the process of opening a case. Through this whole process...e Mr. Behren communicated with me and explained every step. I felt confident in my decision and glad I had him on my side.

Highly Recommend

I retained Mr. Behren in a wrongful employment termination matter. Mr. Behren obtained a settlement agreement for me higher than I ever expected. I highly recommend Scott Behren for any wrongful employment matter that you might have. He's exceptionable, knowledgeable, personable, skilled and deliv...ers results. The best in his field.

Highly Recommend

I reached out to Scott about 3 years ago when I was terminated and in my opinion wrongfully so. Scott replied to me immediately and I met with him a few days later. I went over the details of what happened and he agreed and took on my case. It was a complicated case with multiple claims involved. Sco...tt took on each claim and systematically filed and resolved each one including Unemployment benefits which had been denied to me because of termination, he won that case for me and I received unemployment benefits which I desperately needed. In addition, Scott settled my claims for overtime and wrongful termination and connected me with a lawyer who filed and won my workmans comp. case. Scott always answered questions and kept me in the loop. It was such a relief to have everything handled by Scott and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.
