Susan R. Brown

She really didn't give my case much effort. She just cut and pasted from her previous cases and put mine together. She charged for emailing. She nickled and dimed me to death. She sent me to her "friends" for services I didn't even need. More money spent for nothing. She was very rude to me and I cou...ld never get a word in. Her way or no way. I feel I could have done better with another attorney. Matter of fact, I KNOW I COULD HAVE!

I hired Susan to handle a child support matter. I didn't receive a dime until I found that my ex came into an inheritance. I found her via internet, interviewed and retained her. I was living out of state at the time. She got me every dime and I appreciate that very much. However, when he stopped pay...ing and burned through all of the money, she basically dumped me. We did go to court and got an order for him to go to jail for 90 days if he didn't get current within 72 hours. He never got current and I've never heard back from Susan. Also, in 7 years I was the only one to ever show up for court when the state of Florida was handling my case. Susan arranged for a hearing when he started getting behind and skipping again. I did not receive notification and was out of town during the hearing. She called the morning of the hearing to be sure I was going to be there and gave me a ration of poop for it. It was not the first time her office did not notify me in advance of a court date. I didn't appreciate that and I don't appreciate being dumped because his money ran out. He needs to pay consequences and it seems she doesn't want to see to it that he does. She is a good attorney but seems to pick and choose what she cares to have enforced.

Since my ex posted the only negative comment about Susan, here I am to set the record straight. Susan is an outstanding attorney, I have never regretted hiring her. She has the best interest of my children as her #1 priority. She has given me solid legal advice throughout my lengthy divorce. Her ...advice is supported by case law and years of experience. While my ex is on her 3rd attorney, Susan has been my only attorney and a decision I have never regretted. Susan Brown is always on time for court. She returns phone calls and emails on a regular basis. Susan Brown does such a great job that my ex hates her.
