My daughter works long hours as an emergency room physician. I am writing this review for her and as a greatful grandmother. When my daughter decided to file for divorce, I came to Florida to help her find the best lawyer for what promised to be a nasty divorce. My daughter's "good for nothi...ng husband" threatened to keep her in Florida or take my grandchildren away. To add insult to injury, her Husband asked for her to pay him alimony and attorney's fees. Susan told her it would be an uphill battle to get to leave the state with children but that she thought she had a fighting chance of being able to relocate out of state. In the end my daughter (and grandchildren) won after going before the judge. I am happy to have my daughter and grandchildren nearby. My daughter has a great job and I get to take care of my grandchildren while she works. I dont think we could have gotten this great result without Susan. She stood by us even when things got tough and my daughter wanted to give up on moving.

Even though I have an advanced degree and am a professional, I was nervous hiring a lawyer. My Husband, who had multiple affairs wanted me to pay him alimony. From the first time that I met her Susan made me feel at ease (even though she was kind of blunt in telling me what to expect). . My Hus...band seemed a little afraid of her when we were in court and at mediation. She ran circles around my Husband's attorney and made him look pretty stupid in court. I am glad that I found her.

My ex is a former professional athelete. I was his second wife and I should have paid attention to how he treated his first wife in their divorce because he did the same thing to me. I had no idea he was seeing some other woman, and he just up and left me and the kids, canceled all my credit cards,... stopped paying the mortgage and my car, and told me the kids had to leave private school. i HAD NO MONEY! He hired a big shot attorney who sent me a letter offering me a little bit of money and said if I signed it, Id get a little more money and my kids would get to go to private school and he wouldnt fight me for custody. I got Ms. Brown's name from a friend of mine who went through something similar and let me tell you, she made sure I got everything I was entitled to-alimony, my house, my assets and half of his pension, private school for the kids, a trust for the kids and he paid my attorney's fees. We never even had to go to court. My husband's attorney changed his tune when I hired Ms. Brown. Mediation was a breeze, and we were done with the whole case in three months.My ex said after the fact that if he ever got divorced again, he was going to hire MY LAWYER next time! Ha, ha. He can't afford another divorce after we got done with him. Ms. Brown is the best of the best.
