This is the 2nd time I retained SRB for filing a divorce. I was referred to Susan in 2007 and she asked me "what is your wish list". Since I had 2 little boys to protect from an escalating DV situation - I simply wanted to leave the marriage quickly and painlessly as possible, with half and my sons.... A month after the divorce, the recession hit and I was left with a home I could not sell, I was laid off and unable to find employment for a year, mounting debt and I swore I would never let myself get in that situation again. My ex wifehas a wealthy family and an unlimited budget. I am a professional but dont have unlimited money. Susan got me the parenting schedule I wanted with my son and a fair financial settlement. My daughter works long hours as an emergency room physician. I am writing this review for her and as a greatful grandmother. When my daughter decided to file for divorce, I came to Florida to help her find the best lawyer for what promised to be a nasty divorce. My daughter's "good for nothi...ng husband" threatened to keep her in Florida or take my grandchildren away. To add insult to injury, her Husband asked for her to pay him alimony and attorney's fees. Susan told her it would be an uphill battle to get to leave the state with children but that she thought she had a fighting chance of being able to relocate out of state. In the end my daughter (and grandchildren) won after going before the judge. I am happy to have my daughter and grandchildren nearby. My daughter has a great job and I get to take care of my grandchildren while she works. I dont think we could have gotten this great result without Susan. She stood by us even when things got tough and my daughter wanted to give up on moving.
