Thorough and Knowledgable
Mike recently represented me and I am incredibly happy with Mr. Haber's knowledge and professionalism. From our first conversation through the closing of the proceedings Mike was always there when I needed him, answered every question that I had, and steered me through the Byzantine process that I wa...
Dear Brendan, Yes, that "Byzantine process"... I love the reference. Not only its the term underused but it's wholly appropriate. (For the benefit of others who may not know, "Byzantine complexity" refers to anything that is so overly and unnecessarily complex as to be beyond understanding, and that is an oftentimes apt description of the criminal court process... sometimes even for counsel but especially from the perspective of a lay-person.) With that slight aside, apart from achieving the agreed litigation objective on behalf of the Client it is always my personal goal to to earn a positive client review at the conclusion of the case (and I always tell the client as much right from the very first conversation, knowing that I will do all in my power to in fact have earned it when the case closes), and I am delighted to have earned your rave client review (# 144 for #HaberPA on AVVO). But you also need to give yourself some props... I may have steered the ship but you were the proverbial crew. Had you not helped me to help you (by doing what you were asked to do - how and when it was to be done - and, more importantly, by NOT doing anything that you were not supposed to do during the course of the case) then you may not be such a grateful client (albeit through no fault of mine). In the end it seems that we're each smiling, and I'm both grateful and humbled. Wishing you and yours all the best for the holiday season and beyond, and thanking you again (both for the initial leap of faith and for the follow-up kind review). Fondly, MAH/Esq.

Fantastic Lawyer
I would highly recommend Michael Haber as an attorney. He is very efficient and intelligent, and he knows the law. He represented me in a case that had me very worried, and he prevailed. I thank him very much. I have a lot of confidence in him.
Thank you for your kind review Richard. You hired me in the very end of January, 2017 I informed you that there was a 90 day speedy trial window in your case and promised to wrap it up before May, 2017. You were extremely concerned and I consistently reassured you that our plan - the plan that we painstakingly hashed out and agreed to before you hired me - would work. And it did. We peppered the State with motions, forcing them to take a continuance, we were set for trial yesterday (which was day #90), we were in Court, on time, with our witnesses, ready to take the State to the mattresses, and one of the State's witnesses was late. The Prosecutor groveled, the Judge gave the State an extra 5 minutes and when their witness still was not yet in the courtroom the Judge denied another continuance to the State, effectively forcing a dismissal of your case. Sometimes it's only a chess game and other times it's no game at all; but in your case (as in all cases that I am counsel), more than a quarter century of experience affords us the ability to A) play the game masterfully and B) have a rock solid contingency plan in place, being ready for full blown Braveheart-esque battle. Congratulations my friend. Thanks for your leap of faith. Wishing you and your mom all the best. Fondly, MAH/Esq.

Fair, straight forward and clear!
Mr Haber was fair, straight forward and clear from the beginning. He set the right expectation from the beginning and also quoted a fair rate. Very glad he represented me in front of the court system. I highly recommend his services!
Thank you anonymous. I wish that I could offer some more insight into our relationship (naturally without disclosing any identifying details) but you have covered your tracks quite well and are truly anonymous, even to me. Regardless, I appreciate both your time in posting a 5-Star review and the props for my honesty, integrity, reasonableness, responsibility and straight-forwardness. Those characteristics are among my top goals, apparently, I achieved them in your case and I can't hope for much more. Wishing you all of the best in luck and success and thanking you again. Fondly, MAH/Esq

He gave me some really good free advice
Mr. Huber gave me some really insightful free advice about some case dynamics that I asked about. Some rather perplexing things came up, and he gave me his read. His comments were not a generalized, brush-off type response and were genuine, insightful, and knowledgeable based on his experience. When ...
Dear Guy. Thank you very much for your incredibly kind words. So that anyone reading this knows, we have never met. I merely took the time to provide you a detailed answer (apparently an extremely helpful one at that) to a question that you had posted right here on AVVO. As of this moment I have answered 12,358 Criminal Defense related questions on AVVO and, while many people say thanks, and lots of folks hit the "helpful" or even the "best answer" button, I can count on one hand the number of folks who took the time to provide feedback (for the benefit of others) as you have done; on the other hand, what I do get, with incredible frequency, is email and phone calls and responses from disgruntled Askers, who apparently feel compelled to take their frustration out on me over the facts that A) they have found themselves in a pickle (most oftentimes entirely due to their own poor decision making) and that, coupled with my advise on the situation, B) I choose to tell them the truth rather than to blow sunshine up their pant legs or skirts. Believe me, unfortunately, receiving overwhelming negative criticism from ingrates (you have no idea just how nasty some of these folks can be) reminds me of the adage that "no good deed goes unpunished" and has me asking myself why I even bother taking the time (answering 12,358 questions has taken a looooooooooong time) to do so; but then I receive something like this and, please believe, it completely recharges - in fact it overflows - my batteries. So, again, I offer you my heartfelt gratitude (both personally and o/b/o the thousands of folks who should benefit from my prospective time, effort and energy spent on AVVO) and wish you the best of luck and success. Fondly ==> MAH/Esq.

Positive Hard Working Lawyer!
Michael was an amazing lawyer! He got down to business and worked hard for me since day one of him taking my case. He kept me updated on everything about the case, he would always answer my calls and questions in a timely manner. If it wasn't for Michael, I would have been very stressed about my case...
Hi Amanda. Thank you for both your kind words and positive review. Your case was interesting because it involved a great deal of strategy. There were legal issues ("stand your ground" / self-defense), factual issues (your alleged victim provably unlawfully seeking compensation for a pre-existing medical condition) and practical issues (you having been a tourist when you were unfortunately arrested in FL and being out of State while I prepared your defense). Please know that your constant availability and meaningful participation, coupled with your flying down and preparing for trial testimony, were significant factors in getting the State to decide to dismiss their (bogus) case against you at the 11th hour. Congratulations on your victory. I am happy to have been able to have helped you achieve justice.
