Paul Miles Cowan

It's hard to say enough bad things about this guy. Hire him under no circumstances. If you've already hired him, it's probably too late. He was recommended to me by another attorney who I now suspect was settling an old grudge against my family. Cowan charged $17,000 for the first week and crowed... about it, saying the case law was so complicated. He demonstrated contempt for me as a paying client, and I believe he intentionally caused disruption between our family members in order to exploit the situation. This guy is the reason people hate lawyers. The worst.

Working with Paul Cowan and his team was the worst experience ever. I hired him for my father's probate case and took 3 years and a half until he decided to close the case. He charged me for things he didn't do, he charged me for things twice, and never returned phone calls or emails. He has no manne...rs, and disrespectful. He didn't do the paperwork on time as my homestead which resulted in an increase in my mortgage. We also had paperwork done that took almost two years to deliver. Him and his team are completely out of ethic. I would never recommend him for any matter.

Paul M. Cowan was originally contacted by my father to handle his Trust after the passing of my mother. After meeting with Mr. Cowan, my father directed me, as Co-Trustee, to engage Mr. Cowan upon my father's passing, because he knew my sisters would contest the Living Trust, created in 2005 by my ...parents and distributed to my sisters at that time. Not only did Mr. Cowan and his staff handle this Trust matter professionally and appropriately, he/his staff came to realize that my sister's concerns were more personal than Trust related, and still handled the Trust matter professionally with an attorney (representing my sisters and their children) who, in my opinion, was quite inexperienced in this area of law, became too personally involved, and bit off more than he could chew. I would HIGHLY recommend Paul M. Cowan and his staff to anyone seeking a professional, experienced, trustworthy and caring attorney.

My late mother hired Mr. Cowan to handle her Trust and has continued to administer it for years since her passing. We also used Mr. Cowan to open an Estate for my Mother, he helped ease the process. We are very happy with his work as well as his associates including the paralegal team they have. W...e have found it very easy to get information when we have needed it. I would recomend Mr. Cowan to anyone that may need an atorney that specializes in Probate litigation.
