Steven David Kaufman

For me Mr. Kaufman is one of the best when it comes to family law. He just knows what he is doing,he was very informative with my case, he knows the law in and out with ease. Very punctual in all appointments, he has this amazing ability to remember things. Another thing i've noticed is that he is ne...ver interested in overcharge you in any way, he allways answer the phone even when he was out of the country, very kind person indeed, but very strait and tough when it come to defend you in court. He has the ability to explain the law so the client can understand where he or she stands. I will definitely would recommend Mr. Kaufman to anyone dealing with family law issues.

I was going thru a bad divorce and I was represented by Steven Kaufman. I was not inform on my case and I did not know about my hearing date. The marriage settlement was not complete and Steven Kaufman told me he cannot go any further in my case because he favors opposing counsel. I would not recomme...nd Steven Kaufman.

There were several mistakes made by the attorney during discovery. He did not read the documents and provide valid advice. His office encouraged phone calls and questions and billed his rate for that of associate who also served as receptionist. During discovery meeting the attorney/receptionsit answ...ered multiple phone calls and was distracted adding to the length of the meeting. During meetings with Mr Kaufman he answered his cell phone and carried on perosnal conversations. The attorney permited a deposition and went to the depo unprepared and had not reviewed the emplyment contract/documentation provided to him. Instead of trying to resolve amicably he created a more antagonistic situation with opposing counsel.
