There is not enough space for me to express my gratitude for my attorney Steve Kaufman. I tend to ramble and my communications are usually long. Eventually Steve would ask me to keep it short and to the point which is a testament to how well he got to know his client. I got divorced in 2008 and st...eve was not my attorney who handled my divorce. I was emotional mess and made many mistakes in 2008 since I did not anticipate that the person I loved for 15 years could present so many challenges after our divorce. I quickly realized that simple things needed to be clearified in my maritial divorce settlement agreement and that my divorce did not end when it was signed by the judge. I have 4 kids and I could not even begin to explain all the issues that I ecountered the following 6 years. I decided to choose an attorney that would give me the time to feel my pain and emotions and guide me thru my legal issues. Steve has helped me with restraining orders against myself, my ex wife new husband. He has guided me with court appointed guardian ad liedems. He has helped me with issues regarding my children and how they each individually handled the divorce and all the mistakes their parents made. Steve Kaufman is my firend and you need not search any further for an attorney. I have met him on weekends at coffee shops. I even spent a Saturday morning at his house preparing for court (I did bring bagels, lox and white fish). Steve has amazing court room presence and clearly out performs the opposing counsel. He is patient in the court room and does not allow his clients emotions to interfere with his professionalism. I made every mistake a client could make. You will not be his only client. There are times that your emotions are high and you want to speak to Steve immediately. I was the pain in the ass client who called 5 times a day. For the most most part he always called me back even while on vacation. Get my point! I did learn over the years to respect that he is in court and has other clients. I hope none of you have a divorce as difficult as mine was. But I do have peace with my ex-wife now. But that can change as it has in the past. Some of you will be lucky and your divorce will not be an issue after it is signed. You have a much better chance if you choose my friend Steve Kaufman
