I'm very happy and satisfied with this firm they got a great modification for me. I got a principal forgiveness for more than $200,000.00. My interest rate is 2% and will be fixed at 3.575 after 7 years. I never thought that I could receive such loan modification. Thank you Dr.Marrero, processor and ...all staff for your help.

On April 14, 2012, My family and I hired Julio C. Marrero to assist us with a loan modification our property that we purchased in 2006. On this date, we spoke to Raimi Jimenez (legal assistant for Marrero Law firm) and signed all document to complete a loan modification on our home so that we can low...er our mortgage payments. He asked for a retainer fee a month for 6 months. During the time of filing the loan modification, we were served with foreclosure documents. We signed documents for Mr. Marrero to represent us in court for the foreclosure and for him to take our case until this day to see if we can save our home. During his ” representation” I received several calls from the mortgage company stating that they could not get a hold of our lawyer. Raimi Jimenez assured us that the lawyer was representing us in court and would rip all letters we would show him, stating that they were not important. Every time the payment was made they asked for more money. On November 28th I was asked to sign a Quick claim Deed, removing myself from the deed and forced to pay them to process it. This was supposed help with speeding up the modification process. The Quick Claim Deed was processed 3 months after, on February 12th. Just a few days prior to having our home foreclosed on. Due to the lack of being misrepresented, and informed of the court decisions we lost our home, the house was foreclosed on February 19. 2015. I am writing in hopes that an investigation be processed on this law firm in hopes that other innocent people do not make the same mistake of trusting this lawyer.
