Once upon a time there was a recently divorced single mom (me) that unknowingly became the victim of predatory discriminatory lending. In efforts to maintain a good credit rating I called my lender many times to discuss alternatives, each time they said I had to be more than 90 days delinquent. So wh...ile working and going to school full time I decided to give in and fall behind. Sound familiar? The lender then offered me modifications but the terms were never much better then my original loan. After graduation I was served with foreclosure papers. I had no intention of loosing my home of 14 years so I hired Julio Marrero to represent me. They were able to successfully get my case dismissed and process the paperwork for my HAMP - Home Affordable Modification Program. I qualified under the guidelines and was able to finally resolve all of the issues with my lender. What a relief to know that my son and I are going to be staying in our home for as long as we like, with the new reasonable and affordable payments.
