I engaged attorney Eric Nissim Assouline to help me with a complicated business case where I had been poorly represented, became a ProSe and then the opposing counsel had purposely neglected to inform me of a hearing date (even though we had a communication agreement that he would communicate with th...e court and keep me informed). I was facing contempt, sanctions and fines through no fault of my own. At the last hearing, Mr. Assouline skillfully represented me, educated me of my rights under the law, and we were able to continue in the case on a fair basis. Had I not engaged Mr. Assouline, we would have had no opportunity to plead my side of the case and would have had to pay fines, bear sanctions and contempt and likely had judgements placed against me unfairly. Attorney Assouline is a skillful counsel who knows the law well and is able to communicate clearly with me as his client to the point that I was prepared when the Judge called upon me to state my position. Without Mr. Assouline's thorough guidance I would not have understood the implications of my case, nor be prepared to address it properly as I had to do when questioned by the Judge. I would strongly recommend Mr. Assouline to anyone needing solid legal advice, as well as his ability to educate his clients on the laws as they apply to their case. Mr. Assouline is well grounded in business law, contracts, IP and real estate. He has my highest regard.
