Mr. Bickman was able to untangle the mess my previous attorney left behind. He was very straight forward with me as to what to expect and in actuality, he wasn't far off. I like that he took the bull by the horns and lead my complicated divorce to a speedy resolve. He did an excellent job focusing on... what was important and (I'm sure) saved me thousands of dollars by not litigating meaningless matters that opposing council raised. When it came time to litigate, he controlled the situation and had opposing council in constant disarray. I highly recommend Mr. Bickman and expect he will protect your assets as much as he did mine.

Throughout my divorce proceedings, I faced many difficult, contentious, complicated situations. Mr. Bickman understood how to elegantly navigate these challenges. His knowledge and experience, bolstered by his familiarity with the inner workings of the family court system, guided my case toward a rap...id, favorable resolution. Mr. Bickman was always available by phone or email and he responded rapidly to any of my questions or concerns. Throughout the litigation of my case, I felt like Mr. Bickman cared deeply about the outcome and always had the best interest of my children in mind. He worked so hard on behalf of my children and me, and ultimately we achieved the optimal resolution.

I hired Mr. Bickman to handle my highly contested divorce in 2015. My case was extremely complicated and required Mr. Bickman to be very detail oriented. I have three children all under the age of 10. My husband and I had a substantial marital estate. My husband and I have a very toxic situation whic...h required Mr. Bickman to help us work through hostility and tension on both sides which he was excellent at handling. Mr. Bickman's patience, kindness and compassion throughout every step of the divorce process made me feel so safe and takien care of. When it came time to trying the case Mr. Bickman was second to none with his preparation and organization prior to trial. During the trial he handled the direct examination and cross-examination of over a dozen witnesses magnificently. At the end of the day the results are what matter most and Mr. Bickman's efforts were what got me the results I wanted and more. Me and my children are forever indebted to Mr. Bickman for his kindness and superior lawyering skills.

I hired Joshua Bickman in April of 2015. I am following the Avvo review guidelines to explain what Attorney Bickman Failed to Do: Failed to be organized. He asked me several times for financial items that I had already sent. Failed to be compassionate. I am overwhelmed by the divorce legal process... and have many questions. Mr Bickman would just tell me to " Be Quiet" instead of addressing my concerns. Failed to articulate a convincing argument during mediation. I have a pre-nup with a clause that should have worked as a bargining chip. Mr Bickman failed to use it in our favor. Failed to show up for a meeting. We had twice confirmed a strategy session meeting to go over what we would ask for or be willing to give in mediation. Mr Bickman did not show up! I was was there by myself with a blank notepad, heartbroken. Failed to read the judges memo or order regarding the court fee for mediation. Instead of starting mediation, we used up valuable time (mediation has a strict time limit) to leave the court house and go to a store to buy a new money order. This made us look very unprofessional to the mediator and opposing counsel. My feeling is Mr Bickman relied on past experience to just coast by, instead of spending the time necessary to be well prepared on an individual case basis. I was very disappointed with Attorney Joshua Bickman.

Mr. Bickman took me for a fool. He keeping my Divorce case open for stupid reasons to get money from me. Then to my final Divorce hearing there was no MSA (Martial Settlement Agreement). Now 6 months later my ex-husband is taking me to court again for modification since Mr. Bickman did nothing corr...ectly! More money I have to spend on another attorney now. A divorce that should of been less than $3,000 is now costing me over $7,000.
