It’s difficult to articulate how truly exceptional an attorney Catherine Rodriguez is. My gratitude for her work is only matched by the admiration I have for it. Before I found Catherine, I was going through a lengthy, highly contested divorce that ultimately went to trial after three years. I initially went through three attorneys who made matters worse by allowing my ex-spouse’s unscrupulous attorney to run roughshod over them and by failing to truly understand the case. Everything changed when I found Catherine about a year and a half into the process. She understood the case immediately and proactively worked to correct the situation. Her knowledge of the law is beyond impressive. She was able to “turn the tide,” and for the first time, I had someone standing up for my children and me. She was proactive rather than reactive and immediately began obtaining results that moved the case forward. She also stopped my ex-spouse and her attorney from intentionally financially draining me by prolonging litigation. When necessary—and only when necessary—she filed appropriate motions, which were always granted. Catherine was also highly effective at de-escalating unnecessary conflicts and, ultimately, turned my ex-spouse’s and her attorney’s intransigence against them in court when we went to trial. Watching Catherine at trial, along with Brianna Stern from Filler Rodriguez, was absolutely mesmerizing. Their level of preparedness, mastery of every detail of the case, and complete command of the courtroom set the tone and achieved outcomes I could have only hoped for. It was this level of preparation and attention to detail that even overcame a guardian ad litem recommendation. I would be remiss not to express my deep gratitude to Brianna Stern, who worked alongside Catherine on my case. Her dedication alone brought me an immense sense of relief.
