Biography
Attorney Steven P. Spann is a partner of Orshan, Spann & Fernandez-Mesa and a premier family law and divorce attorney. He is also the firm’s lead appellate attorney, a role requiring him to conduct legal research, draft appellate briefs, and appear before the District Courts of Appeal.
Mr. Spann earned his J.D. from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. Before joining Orshan, Spann & Fernandez-Mesa, he spent 15 years in higher education administration. His higher education career included roles at University of Miami, Barry University, and – most recently – Philadelphia University, where he served as the Associate Dean of Students while attending law school. Mr. Spann is a proud member of the Family Law and Appellate Law Sections of The Florida Bar and The Florida First Family Law Inn of Court. He is active in the legal community and frequently gives back through community service.
