Nina and her team were incredibly helpful from the very beginning! She thoroughly reviewed my case, all my notes, all the documentation (which was a lot, at least, to me), and helped me understand everything. She and her team were extremely communicative which is important to me. They kept me up to d...ate on each step, answered all my questions, and helped me figure out what documents to obtain (or, at times, reminding me what was still needed when I forgot). They did an incredible job, and I highly recommend them. It doesn't matter if you're in a different state, either - she can still help you! I'm in NC and we did everything via email and/or phone. I also appreciate how she took time in December to meet with me (while I was in Florida), that was definitely incredibly appreciated!

This review may be long, but my situation and Dabdoub's performance warrants this review. You work your whole life to take care of those you love. When you are unable to work due to a health condition, you depend on your disability insurance benefits to help you through those very difficult times. Wh...en I found myself in that situation, the unthinkable happened. After months of struggling with my condition and gathering all of the documentation (documents were completed by my doctor and surgeon as required) that CIGNA said I needed to be approved for my Short Term Disability, I was denied the benefits that I was entitled to under my compensation package with my employer. I was already suffering tremendously from my severe condition, and now on top of that I had no finances coming in to carry us through. On top of that, CIGNA would not approve the surgery that I needed for my condition. This had a devastating blow on not only me but my wife and my children. For the first time in our lives we were in great financial despair and began to have mental meltdowns. I had nowhere to turn. I begged my employer for help. They sent me back to CIGNA, Needless to say I got nowhere. They told me that I could file an appeal if i didn't agree with their decision. I began to seek legal help. I found no one local. Then I came across Dabdoub law firm when searching the web. Their firm stood out to me above the others. I gave them a call. The paralegal that I spoke to listened to me and told me they would be able to help. After taking my information, He told me I would be working with Nina and that I was in good hands. I can honestly tell you that it was a blessing to have someone fighting on my side for a change instead of being bullied by the insurance company. My surgery was approved by my new insurance company shortly after I hired Dabdoub. The law firm maintained contact with me and took care of the appeals process for me. My result - Nina won my appeal for STD and got my LTD approved!!! I could not understand why I was denied, but Nina came in and turned this thing around for me and my family. Geannina A. Burgos is absolutely the right attorney to have on your side for cases involving Disability Insurance/Appeals/Litigation. Upon receiving news from my insurance company that they were going to discontinue my benefits, I immediately reached out to Nina(Geannina). She was quick to act on my ...behalf and very thorough. She knew exactly what they were trying to pull and seemed to be ahead of them every step of the way. Communication with her and the law firm was great. The staff was easy to talk to and were always up-to-date on my case. At times, it seemed like I’d see no end to the Insurance company’s charades. Honestly I'll start off just saying that from minute one, the whole Dabdoub law firm she was working with was very cordial and receptive from the beginning. I called them after attempting to get assistance from two other firms, to which I will simply state that my "Free Consultation" with one of them... lasted 5 minutes and I was told I had no idea what I was talking about. Anyways, after calling Dabdoub and actually having the opportunity to be heard, we exchanged files, documents, claim forms, etc. Which all went super smooth. Contact was a really large concern for me as my legal problem had been made worse several times by misinformation, or simply the lack of it altogether. Continuing on, I got fully assigned/set up and spoke to Geannina, who kindly gave me a rundown of how Long-Term Disability cases typically go, how they would help, who they were reaching out to and talking with, and really by the end of the first phone call I couldn't think of a single question she hadn't already answered for me. Needless to say, I felt like she "grabbed the case by the horns" so to say and just felt reassured for the first time in a while that things would be handled properly. As time went on there were some basics back and forth, and any time she was busy assisting elsewhere I felt her team supported her greatly. The one I became familiar with was Janiece, and I feel noteworthy as she did an awesome job of helping me sort out some groundwork and move the case along. All the while, still eager to help if I had any questions. All in all, if I ever needed another legal matter settled or even just looked at in general, I'd toss my hat in her corner 100%. And just to think. At the time of my case I was and am from/in an entirely different state than her. So take it for what it's worth, a lawyer who can handle cases cross-country and still keep up with everything else. I may have taken too many characters with my review, however I felt it necessary to use them as such. Also, you gave me 4000 characters aaaand she's a cool, worthwhile lawyer so there.

I first approached Geannina unsure if my case had any merit. After hearing me out she gave me an honest assessment where I stood legally and offered up helpful advice. Once we got into the thick of it, she was a real pro interfacing with my team of doctors and always had a willingness to listen to my... long-winded updates, and even the occasional venting about how unfair and ridiculous my whole situation had become. I have no idea how she was able to take a very unfair situation and turn the tide in my favor but I'm indebted to her tenacity and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done. If I had to do it all over again, Geannina would be my "go to" attorney. She deserves all the accolades she can get.
