I had been off of work due to a disability for nearly a year. My recovery time was undetermined, due to my medical condition. My employer provided both short-term and long-term disability insurance. It took New York Life nearly a year to reach a final denial decision on my claim. I hired Ms. Burgos and her firm regarding a long-term disability appeal with a renowned insurance company that famously denies legitimate disability cases. From my first conversation with Ms. Burgos in June of 2023, she demonstrated the utmost professionalism demonstrating a plethora of knowledge... regarding rare chronic illnesses as well as working with insurance companies. It is clear that Ms. Burgos has a passion for what she does, and she is relentless (in a fantastic way) when it comes to having your claim heard so that you can "move on" with your life with some sort of financial stability.
