I was still hesitant and decided to continue looking or give it more thought. Three months passed and I went back to read and compare the firm with another firm and this time while reviewing the other firm’s reviews I knew I wanted to work with Geanina Burgos as she had a track record and she knew the work and had experience as she apréciales in long term disability benefits cases. I called again and signed up and I am so happy did because she worked in a short period of time to get my case ready to submit the appeal. Her staff was also very friendly and responsive as well as organized. They kept me informed at every step of my case. It did not matter that she is in Florida and I am in california. Although my appeal was denied we went through mediation where she really negotiated my case and I settled for a nice amount I never thought I could get. I was devastated to receive a denial of benefits letter without warning from Cigna. All benefits disappeared while I was least able to defend myself or my family.
