Russel Martin Lazega

Russel Lazega leads a boutique litigation practice that started in 1998 in a 10'X10' windowless room in Little Haiti and quickly expanded to a nealry 50 person, 15-attorney affiliation with offices in Miami, Dania, Orlando, Tallahassee and Tampa. Russ has served as president of the North Dade Bar Association and as General Counsel to the Responsive Insurance Company.  Currently, Russ and his firm represent consumers and medical services providers in their pursuit of payment of unpaid and underpaid insurance claims.  Russ has authored nationally distributed treatises on Motor Vehicle No-Fault Law and Florida Insurance Practice, presented insurance reform proposals to state legislative committees, lectured on windstorm insurance to the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters and helped establish a medical provider's right to sue insurers before the Supreme Court of Florida. But rapid expansion hasn't hampered our small-firm spirit. We work in jeans, have a dog in the office, and promote an open atmosphere that has helped us assist consumers statewide with thousands of insurance claims and appeals.
