“This admonishment arose from a Complaint by opposing counsel. The opposing counsel attempted to obtain a fee from my client, her former client. The violation I committed was telling the attorney I was going to report her to the Florida Bar if she did not drop her claim. The Judge ultimately ruled I was correct on the law. The Florida Bar correctly determined I was wrong to tell her I would report her to the Bar. There has never been a Complaint against me by a client to the Florida Bar.”
